Beautiful Card Designs Made Easy

July 08, 2014

Dreamer ...

Hi Everybody,

Back to cards today and not a Spellbinders in sight.

This is simply A4 cut in half and joined together with a hinge and then each mat and layer cut slightly smaller.

The top layer has been embossed with the  Ornate Butterflies A4 folder from Crafters Companion

The inside is also embossed with the same pattern and the beautiful pearl flourish on the front is from Want2Scrap

The ribbon is some from my "Stash" but the centre on the bow and the flowers and the leaves are from Wild Orchid Crafts

The flowers have been sparkled with Glitter Magic  and I use the one called Chameleon for my cards as it goes with anything you add it to

It is a very simple card to make but how you dress it  is up to you and the embellishments that you have available to you.

More tomorrow ...

Hugs xx

What a stunning card that does sound so very easy, I am all in favour of easy! I love the saying you have used on the front, and so very true, as always the flowers are beautiful.
Once again thank you for your wonderful inspiration.

  19. Hi Christina, another stunning card, I made a card using the hinged technique as you have shown. I lined the inside and decorated it with lace and finished the front with the smallest of the large decorative ovals and finished it with flowers and pearls. I must admit it looks entirely different than the card which is just folded in half. Thanks again for sharing your wonderful ideas, I would never have been able to make such beautiful cards. Kind regards

  21. Christina,
It may be simple, but it is absolutely gorgeous. The embossing folder is fabulous, gives it such elegance, add to that the embellishments, and you have perfection. Great, great, job.
