Beautiful Card Designs Made Easy

Autumn Leaves

Hi Everybody,

Well here I am back at home and sorry to have missed the blog post yesterday.

The show at 7am  was cancelled and so after breakfast we set off back up the motorway.

I was really angry with myself because I made some lovely samples to show you ... and left them all on my desk at home !!

I only realised what I had done when I walked into the studio on Monday morning to set everything up.

My stomach did somersaults when it dawned on me.

Fortunately I had sent some samples ahead of time but  they where all I had to dress the set.

This is one of the cards that was shown and this one has used the Bricks and Bark EL-015  folder from Spellbinders

The dies I have used are from the  Woodland Collection  and they the large leaves Leaves S4-571 and I have inked them with Distress Inks.  The smaller leaves and the acorns are from Acorns S2-191

So now I am back home I can get back to normal and tomorrow there is a really pretty card up for grabs in the Friday Freebie

More tomorrow ...

Hugs xx

  5. Good Morning, Christina,
I missed you yesterday and was a bit worried that you may be under the weather. Welcome back :). Fantastic card, I've really fallen in love with the Woodland Collection. Couldn't afford to buy the complete collection from C&C though as I already have something on flexi-pay that I need to pay off before getting anything else. I've got my eye on a place that is selling them separately for a very good price though and will start getting one a month I think. The acorns are really pretty. I hadn't really given them much thought until I saw the card you've made with them. They are so cute aren't they. I think the animals are still my favourite though and will be the first ones I buy.
Thanks for sharing this lovely card.

  6. Good Morning Christina :) Glad you are back home safe and sound. And don't be too hard on yourself. The show was probably cancelled because YOU sold everything out; and that's a good thing. I absolutely LOVE this card this morning. And, I believe I have enough tools to have a similar go at it. Thank you for sharing and for all you do for us. Enjoy a relaxing day. Big Hugs.

  10. Hi Christina, a beautiful autumnal card and managed to watch your shows they were fantastic you and Dean were a scream together not to worry about the mislaid cards it just a pity you won't get to show them on air as you said they would have to bring the dies back but you never know at least we will get to see them if you post them on your blog.

  12. Don't beat yourself up, we all make mistakes if, for no other reason, than to help us realize how great we usually are! lol But you usually don't and people were worried about your 'non' blog. Thank you for showing the bark folder.... love the driftwood look. It pairs well with the brilliant colored autumn leaves.

  16. The sadest part of the cancelled show is the missed opportunity for many many people to see your lovely creations! I'm very thankful to have connected with you on your website and look forward to seeing them here. Certainly, this card is worth waiting for. I love the bark embossing folder and the look of texture it adds. The leaves and acorns are so sweet. I'm truly sorry for your disappointment however. I hope your current projects help you move forward. Looking forward to seeing your work.

  21. Christina, I love the woodland collection. This time of year I am out in the woods more. Sorry you forgot some of your projects however being the professional you are I am sure your time on C&C was awesome. Somehow I seem to miss you on there. I am thankful for your videos and your Tuesday projects. Had grandchildren home from school this week with strepthroat and poison oak. Went on a field trip. Busy week as we all have. ~blessings, Louise
