Here is a digital image that is from Mos'Digital Pencil and it is one I have had on my PC for quite some time and this is Video Boy
It has been colored with a mixture of Gansai Tambi Water Colors and Spectrum Noir Pens pencils
I have die cut it out with Spellbinders Pierced Rectangles and added in faux stitches to make it stand out.
I have added it to the front of my card with foam tape and then printed of a little sentiment and added it to the bottom .. and in keeping with the sentiment I have made his face look dirty
I thought that some buttons and string would be a good way to finish the card and keep it "boy" like
The background is a simple stripe that is also digital and I can print these off whenever I need some fresh ones
More tomorrow ...

ReplyDeleteHi, Christina,
ReplyDeleteGreetings from an extremely windy but at the moment, sunny East Cornwall! I do love this card, especially the sentiment...that little explanation to 'Boy' could also relate to my dog lol. It's nice to see that the Spectrum Noir pencils play so nicely with your Gansai Tambi watercolours. That's something I will remember when I next play with my paints :). I love the boy's freckles, he's very cute isn't he.

ReplyDeleteHi Christina, I had to chuckle when I saw this card, as I made a card with this image last month, for my Grandson, and it is still on the shelf just above my desk. I used Spectrum Noir pens for mine and cut it out leaving a thin white border, used some Fall out 4 pictures for the background then popped video boy on the card with foam pads for dimension! I too have had the image for quite a long time, but never really got around to using it till now. I have to say, I found him great fun to colour! Love what you have done with yours, thinking of making another card for my other Grandson, with this one, I enjoyed it that much! Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
