Todays card is back to pink again ... and this one uses the Victorian Medallions Three cut in Kraft card
I have cut the shape twice and glued them together for a thicker panel.
On top of that I have layered Victorian Medallions One cut twice in white.
Both panels have been added with foam tape underneath them for dimension
Lace and ribbon have been wrapped around the layers.
With the pearl flourishes from Want2Scrap I have kept them attached to the carrier sheet and simply cut around it and tucked them in tot the floral display so that they are free
The flowers, lace and acrylic flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts and I have added white Gesso and glitter to the petals. I have tied a net bow and pushed it in to the flowers as a little extra. Tiny pink pearls have been added to the net
More tomorrow ...

such a beautiful card love your style i dont like kraft card but it works well with the pink so i might give it a try
ReplyDeleteLovely! Pink looks beautiful with the Kraft card and lace. I'm wondering about the card blank. Is it pre-printed or a background stamp? Either way it sets everything else off wonderfully.

Good Morning Christina :) OMG!! I just LOVE these "Romance" cards... or I guess we call them "Shabby Chic"?? Whatever they are called.... Woman, you know how to do them BEAUTIFULLY!! I love them so much, I could "live" in the card! They just seem to touch my soul to a time I must have lived in before. What a way to start my day Dear Lady. Wishing you have a lovely, creative day. Big Hugs.
ReplyDeleteHi, Christina,
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty pink card today. Am I right in thinking that you've used a tiny rosebud in the centre of one of the flowers? It looks great! I enlarged the picture so I could have a good look at everything and I love the pink pearls on the lace and the way you've left the 'bling' on the carrier sheets. The sentiment is so true as well. Another winner :)
