Now it's not very often you will hear me say this ... but I am not well !! I have really bad chest infection and I cannot stop coughing... and when I lie down it's ten times worse so needless to say I am not getting much sleep
But the worst of it is Vickie and I are taking the lovely Isabella to see Alice in Wonderland on Ice tomorrow. And as my mum used to say to people with a bad cough .... "You sound like an old pit man" I am sure my English readers will understand that description especially the older ones that will remember the coal mines
Any way enough of this babble lets get to the important bit and that is the winner of the blue floral card from yesterday. A name has been chosen and it is you ...
Donna Okoniewski
please email me with your postal address to
christina@card-making-magic.com
and the card will be on it's way to you straight away.
And now I don't have time to feel sorry for myself I am going to cough my way to the restaurant and clean it again from top to bottom as Jamie is hoping to open on Wednesday next week
More tomorrow ...
Hugs xx

Christina, I just recovered from a bug also and coughed for about two weeks afterwards. Please take care of yourself and stay inside if possible..I know you don't want to pass it on to your loved ones if you're still contagious and you don't want to make yourself sicker either. You seem to be such a giving person that I know it will be hard to do. Take care and get well soon. :)
ReplyDeletewell done Donna, Christina, get well soon. Diana xx
ReplyDeleteChristina, take care of that cough. See your Dr. Please. Congrats to Donna.
ReplyDeleteChristina, I rarely get a cold like you you are describing, but I had one where I kept coughing like you describe. The doctor gave me something to stop the coughing so I could get some rest. A pharmacist might be able to tell you of something to help stop the coughing so you can get some rest. lease be careful you don't end up with pnuemonia!
ReplyDeleteHi Christina
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear your feeling really poorly. But that kind of cough and cold seem to be doing the rounds just lately. I hope your feeling better soon. Congrats to the card winner.
Hello Christina - I'm sorry you are not feeling well and send wishes for rest and recovery quickly. Saying prayers for you too. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Donna for winning your lovely card!

Vicks, try that on the bottom of your feet with socks and it will help the coughing. My Mom always used it on us. Works great. Might be called something different there. It really does work. Put some on your chest too. If that don't help hit the doctor up for something you might have bronchitis or pneumonia.
