Beautiful Card Designs Made Easy

Shabby Chic Heart Video

Facing to the right
Hi Everybody,

Today I am adding the video to share with you how I made this beautiful card.

I have used the really old 6x6 Heart Box Die Set that I designed as Card Making Magic a long time ago but if you have the die set then now is the time to get it out again.

For this I have added in some cheesecloth and a white die cut panel along with some blue flowers and the little cherub on the left side.

It is a really pretty card and the edges have been decorated with lace and although it looks fussy it is  not hard to do at all.

You will notice that each card faces a different way and that depends on which way round you use the base as you make it.

This peach card is my favourite as it is so vibrant and the background colour way is created with inks by hand.

They can be for any occasion and any colour that you want but they all look really good once they are done and shabby chic is a style that  never seems to go out of date.

Enjoy the video

Bye for now ...

Hugs xx

  1. Good Morning Christina and all that visit today. Thank you for showing us your shabby chic designs. I've not had time to comment this week because of family matters. I have looked at each days posts and have saved the videos to watch your fabulous work later. Everyone is a gem. And I will certainly be creating them soon for two of my friends who both have 80th birthdays coming up. Thankyou Sue. Sending hugs 🤗and best wishes to everyone. Please stay safe and well 🙏.

  3. Morning. Today’s cards are works of art. The only problem with receiving this type of card is where do you store them - you couldn’t possibly throw them away!!! Janet Boyne

  10. Hi Christina, really lovely ideas with the heart dies, I do have a set of hearts dies ,not the originals but near enough so I shall have a go, they are lovely & would be good for anniversaries as well as birthdays and they are a bit different . Must say you always make it look easy, an idea for Janet's comment would be to put I narrow ribbon on the top of the card to hang them up, its seems to be the thing at the moment .

  14. They are all so gorgeous, it is fun doing shaped cards. The glass glitter sure does add a special touch, keep forgetting to use that stuff
