Hi Everybody,
Thank you for participating in all the Friday Freebies that I have done over the years and I have given away probably hundreds, if not thousands, of pounds worth of gifts in that time. I am sure that the winners have had some fun playing with whatever it was you won and many also got extras inside the envelope too.
But like everything else in the crafting world things are changing and the Friday Freebie is coming to an end and next week sees the last of them being offered to you. The cost of postage has gone up and it can cost me as much as £12 - £15 UK to post them to USA or Australia, and that is no longer a viable expense for me.

Good Morning Christina and all that visit today. Awwww I am so sorry to hear Friday Freebie is coming to an end. I always looked forward to it every week ... Just to see what it might be. But Christina ... I totally understand your reasons and the main one is the postage costs. Soon it will be too expensive to post birthday cards at all. And the annoying thing is ... when the card doesn't even reach its destination. The other thing that is also sad is the rise in the number of posts on Fridays as opposed to the rest of the week. I know this is an issue you addressed a few weeks ago . I will still pop in as always as and when I can ... as I have said many times I have learned so much from you .

I have kept them all complete in the packaging and the sample cards of how to make them, and they have been so useful to me to refer back to each time I make them. ReplyDeleteI totally understand the reasoning to stop the Friday Freebie prizes. Postage has gone up so much. We thank you for the many wonderful prizes sent out over the years! I know I think of you each time I use one of the dies I have received from you, or refer to one of the magazines for ideas. Many thanks!

Well done to Friday winner, & another voice here to say you have been more than generous to your crafting friends, I have had some lovely gifts & treats & always thought that the costs must be getting excessive , its bad enough sending a card, we will all miss the giveaways but as long as you can keep on putting on your ideas & videos Im sure we will always be happy & I am sure I speak for everyone when I say we all appreciate the time & effort you put in, you help us all improve our crafting, you also help us to share the company of our fellow crafters, so don't be worried we are here as long as your happy to do the sharing.
