Beautiful Card Designs Made Easy

April 25, 2025

Look at the background ...

Hi Everybody,

I have had some messages saying that you are looking forward to the Hessian flowers videos but that you don't know what Hessian is

This is a card I did quite some time ago and  on it I used a die that is called  Fish Net that I got from Amazon.

The reason I am showing it here is because it looks very similar to what Hessian would look like with some of the strands thinned out a little bit.

I have cut this in Kraft card but I could just as easily have made it my self using real Hessian.

I will do some on a card using the real Mc-coy and show you what it looks like,  next week once the video has gone live featuring the  Hessian.

I have brought the videos forward to Monday, and Thursday  in the hope that it will make things and the material a little clearer for those who have never used it.

Bye for now ...

Hugs

  1. Morning - I would never have bought a die that looked like that but it really does look effective. Janet Boyne

  2. I had a search for hessian but looks like mainly sold in the UK, seems similar to burlap, maybe more delicate?

    1. Hessian and Burlap are exactly the same thing ... just depends on where you live. UK Hessian / USA Burlap

  8. Good Morning Christina and all that visit today. I love the Hessian look on this card. But I am not sure how the flowers will work . But I am confident that you will make it look easy. Unfortunately I think I might miss some of the lovely videos you are doing. I am hoping the wifi will be working when we get to our hotel. . So as I explained before if the wifi is working I will be able to post . Thankyou Christina . Sending hugs 🤗 and best wishes to everyone. Please stay safe and well 🙏 .
