Challenge No. 8

Hi Everybody,

Today is Challenge No. 8 over ate Paper Creators   and the theme for this months project is ...  "For the Boys"

I have used the "Mommas Little Clown" image and he is so cute.

It is a pre-coloured image ... so no need to get the pens out. All you need to do is print and create your card.

I have used Spellbinders Fleur Di Lis Rectangles  in the background and the paper, which has been matted and layered,  is from my "Stash"

The ribbon has been simply tied in a knot so as not to be too frilly for a boys card.

The pearly swirl is just a little touch to stop the card being too plain and that is from Want2Scrap

A very easy card to make especially if you are in a hurry or you have been asked to make a card at the last minute.

If you would like to enter the challenge then pop over to Debbies blog and add your entry. The winner will win £10 to spend in the shop and there are lots of lovely images for you to choose from.

They are for boys and girls of all ages  and they cover many different occasions.

More tomorrow ...

Paper Creators 5th Challenge ...

Hi Everybody,

Today is the start of the fifth  challenge over at Paper Creators

The theme this time is "Flowery Delights" set by Moi

If you add your card then you could win £10 to spend in the shop on some of the delightful  images

There are many for you to choose from and your prize will go along way.

This card is a 15cms square and I have decoupaged the Teddy bear up with five layers.

I added Glamour Dust to the sentiment that is printed on the panel and the image is pre-coloured so no need to worry if you don't like colouring in.

I have used yellow this time ...  which is a colour  I don't use much.

The flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts where some that I just happened to have in my "Stash"

The Pearl flourish is from Want2Scrap

The inside of the card has been finished with the panels that come on the sheet  and the ribbon is again some that I already had.

Altogether a really pretty card that could be for any occasion and so easy to put together for a quick make.

Because it was challenge day I have extended the   "Give Away"   until tomorrow ... so if you haven't added your name to the list yet...  now is time to do it as the winner will be chosen then.

Challenge Time ...

Hi Everybody,

It's that time again for another challenge over at Paper Creators  and this time the theme is for Circular Easel Cards.

These are very easy to make  from the Easel Kits and the one I have done is edged with a scalloped frame from Spellbinders.

I have decoupaged the layers to the birds using Pinflair Glue Gel to give it some height.

The  flowers around the edge match the flowers in the topper and they are from Wild Orchid Crafts

They are a mixture of roses, cherry blossoms, and small daisy like flowers and all have been glittered up with Glamour Dust.

The Pearl flourish is from Want2Scrap

The stopper for the Easel is created from one of the sentiments on the sheet and it says "You are my favorite Chick"

Why not pop over to Paper Creators and join in the challenge. You could win £10 to spend on some of the "Goodies" from the shop.

Paper Creators Challenge

Today sees the launch of another challenge for you to enter over at  Paper Creators   This is the third one and this time it is set by Colette.

The theme for this one is "Love is all around" and of course with Valentines Day on the horizon what could be better.

These are the cards I have made and they are from the   "Sassy Sally" collection.

There are some really sweet images in there for all your girly cards.

And you can dress them up any way you wish.

This one has  Butterflies from Les Papillion.

Some Gingham ribbon from my stash and a tiny button complete the look.

I have kept the colour scheme to the colours in the pre coloured image.
(No not my colouring this time)

I have added glitter to the swirls already drawn onto the topper

There are also inserts on the sheet and this will give a really neat finish to any card.

This card has been made into an Easel Card  and if you click the link you will find a tutorial on how to make it ...  if you are new to cardmaking.

If you are not ...  then maybe you would like to try the more adventurous  Quad Easel

Although not a video it will take you step by step through the details.

My claim to fame with this card is that it is the one that was featured on Create and Craft last year .... aaaaand I was credited with the idea.

So have  go and see what you come up with.

You will also find the links to all the other types of Easel Cards that can be made.

From Twisted Easel to Triple Easel they are all there.

Please pop over to Debbies Challenge and enter your cards.  You are then in the chance to win a prize.

Good Luck

Christmas Mega Bundle

These are some more cards from the Christmas Mega Bundle from  Paper Creator

There are some really sweet and easy to make cards, complete with matching envelope.

Dress them up any way you want.  They are all 6" square cards with some really cute characters.

On this one I have added in a charm to the top right, and a paper doily behind the image ... along with an odd piece of lace I found in my "Stash"

This pretty pink one had the addition of Diamante swirls from Want2Scrap  and it adds that extra special touch for me.

The ribbon is white satin with a gemstone in the centre to hide the knot.

Add in some glitter and use the sentiments that are with the image and make your card.
For this one I have added in some Diamante snowflakes and a  royal blue organza ribbon.

Pretty cards, easy to do and lovely designs ... what more could you want ??

Still not entered your name for the Enveloplus Board ???
