Beautiful Card Designs Made Easy

A little spot of Orange ...

Hi Everybody,

This card is so much prettier in real life  and the flowers are some of the Chrysanthemums from
Wild Orchid Crafts.

In the pack they are a mixture of cream, orange and peach and they are gorgeous.... and I have added some Glamour Dust to the petals.

The stamp is part of a wood mounted set from the Glitter Girls  and is one I have had for a log time.

I have stamped it in orange and then heat embossed it with clear powder.  It has been added to the front with foam pads to keep the banner with a curved effect.

The card is created with the 5 x 7 matting basics in the Hinged style   and I have to say it is a card that I quite like the look of.

Pure White ...

Hi Everybody,

This lovely White card has been made with the Grand Squares  and lots of layers all added with foam pads.

The flowers, flourishes, leaves and butterflies are all from the Jewel Flowers and Flourishes.

Just the very centre of the flowers has been cut from a stamens punch.

The sentiment is from JustRite Stampers and I have heat embossed it in silver.

The flower centres are large pearls from Want2Scrap

The background has been embossed with the A4 folder called Tapestry  from Creative Studios  and it is so pretty.

The Art Studio ... Spectrum Noir Class

Hi Everybody,

A little while ago I told you about my new adventure with  The Art Studio and that I was going to be doing classes for them on my two favorite subjects.... Spellbinders and Spectrum Noir.

My first class went on air earlier this month and is called

The class  will always be accessible  to you once you have purchased it and so you can watch and rewind as much as you like.

I was amazed at the response as it was a  hit with many people ... and a big  Thank You  to those of you who joined that class.

This weekend sees the second of my classes starting and this one is ...

This class is in three parts and priced at $9.99 (£6.50) for all three parts.

It will is the first of many and they will show you how to get perfect results using the Pen System  from Crafters Companion

So if you enjoy colouring in and want to get he best from your Spectrum Noir collection then I hope you will consider joining me on this new class.

Tattered Lace Dies ...

H Everybody,

This is the lovely High Heel Glam shoe die from Tattered Lace

I can't wait to show you  this very filigree die and the card it creates is so very trendy for girls of any age.... and there are many more for you to choose.

I have cut the shoe from some Pink Glitter card and added it to Labels One which has been embossed.

And then added to Decorative Labels One for the centrepiece

The Spellbinders used are listed at the end of the post but with just four of their dies I have made this very pretty card.

The satin ribbon has a gold thread running along the edges and this is from Mei Flower

It makes a very pretty double tied bow with the Bow Maker available in  MY SHOP

The pearls are from Want2Scrap  and I have just added them along the centre strip.

New Dies...

Hi Everybody,

I don't usually start my Christmas s cards this early in the year ... I like to get the feel of some summer first.

But these are some of the new dies that I have been waiting for and they are from  Tattered Lace.

I bought quite a few and there is the most gorgeous shoe die ..."High Heel Glam" ... that I will show you soon.

So today I have been busy cutting out white card and playing with them and layering to see what I can create.

The dies cut so easy and they are a pleasure to work with.

And this is the first Christmas card for this year using these dies.

I wasn't too happy with this card when I started it but once the flowers were added and the Glamour Dust it looked completely different.

And just the addition of the green pearls to the Poinsettia centres made a difference too.

The sentiment is cut from the Christmas Sentiments set and they are individual words that you can mix and match to say what you want.

I also bought the everyday words as they will mix with this set as well... and  I believe there is a Relations set coming out soon.

I have lots of ideas for using these dies and they will be put to good use over the coming months.
