Beautiful Card Designs Made Easy

Lilac and White

Hi Everybody,

Todays card is in a really pretty Lilac and white combination with a Cadbury purple ribbon and bow along the bottom.

I added in flowers that blend and sparkled them up with glitter.

The Spellbinders dies I have used are Labels 56 and I have just used the Classic set and snot the fancy ones that match

The card was very quick and easy to make and this is a useful die set to have ... especially if you get the Decorative Elements that match.

I bought the sentiment in a set of stamps from the craft show and I can't remember who it was by

I used the 5x7 embossing folder for the background panel as I really don't like this part of the card to look too plain

Little pearls have been dotted here and there around the flowers just as added interest.

Shabby Chic - Pink & Silver

Hi Everybody,

Time to create a shabby chic card again and this time I have used silver to highlight the pink and grey

The die that I have used is the Venetian Gatefold and I have used one of the pieces as a window to my card

The pretty papers are Digital ones that I have on my PC and the grey card for the base is from Papermill Direct

The flowers compliment the colour scheme and they have been sparkled with glitter.

Altogether a really pretty card that could be for many types of occasions

Friday Freebie - Card & Die 5

Hi Everybody,

This is the last week of the card and die offer so this is the time to try for this one if you like the look of it all.

Enhanced Banner is the die that will be with this lovely blue card

I have added in some lovely flowers to this birthday card but you could swap out the sentiment if you wanted too

Next week we will be back to a card as the freebie but I hope you have enjoyed this month with the die included.  And if you have won one then I hope you have enjoyed your gift.

Don't forget you can add your card makes to the   Gallery Page   on my website to show everybody what you have created. It is easy to do and you can add up to four cards or just one card from different angle

Please if you add your comment then come back tomorrow to check if you have won

Butterfly Parchment Card

Hi Everybody,

This pretty card is created with Spectrum Noir Pencils on Parchment and although time consuming it is very easy to do.

The video  Butterfly Background on Parchment  will show you how I created this look

Don't be afraid to try this out with any other embossing folders that you have. They will look unique and you will have fun in the process.

This folder is from Crafters Companion and although this one is no longer available there is one that is very similar

The same thing applies to the pencils which CC have renamed and re classified into new groups so I can't give you exact numbers of which pencils I used as I have the older sets

This embossing folder was free with Simply Cards and Papercrafts some time ago but it is a really useful one to have in your crafting "Stash"

I have used it  many times on card as well as parchment and with water colours. alcohol pens as well as pencils

I think both of them are really pretty cards and with a very summery feel to them
