Card Winner

Hi Everybody,

What a beautiful day it is here and for the weekend. Tomorrow we are going to Birmingham to see my daughter Graduate with a Masters Degree and I am so proud of her achievements. She has worked really hard and deserves all the good things that come her way.

Ruby and Dougal will be going to stay overnight with Aunty Sally and they will have a lovely time. Ruby will be back tomorrow as she has quite an achievement of her own to share with you all.

So the draw for yesterdays shabby chic card has been done and the name this week is you ...

Donna Okoniewski

please can you email me with your postal address to
christina@card-making-magic.com
and I will get the card in the post to you straight away.

I am always disappointed when some one does not come forward to claim a card as I know so many others would have loved that pretty Owl Card.  But it will be offered again once the other shabby chic cards have all been given away

More tomorrow ...

Friday Freebie 026

Hi Everybody,

This really pretty Shabby Chic card is the one on offer this week and it is in lovely shades of lilac and lemon.

There is a mixture of flowers all sparkled up and they surround a picture frame.

I really love this card and it is much better in the hand.

So if you would like to win this one then all you need to do is leave me a comment at the end of the post.

I really must stress that you come back tomorrow to check is it is your name that is shown as you will need to email me with your details if it is.

Sadly the pretty Owl card form last week has not been claimed and so I will offer it again at a later date.

I am giving you 72 hours to claim it so I think that is more than fair.

After that time it will be too late and it will go to someone else at another time

More tomorrow ...

Die Cutting Essentials 26 (DCE26)

Hi Everybody,

This months Die Cutting essentials will be on sale tomorrow and with it is the gift named Happy Days.

It consists of three dies and nine stamps that can be mixed and matched in many ways to create various sentiments for you.

For this card I have used Tropical colours to create a bright and sunny card.

I have simply used the dies cuts and stacked them onto the front of my card with foam pads to give a layered look to the bloom

For this card I have  used water colours to change the flowers and cut the card even more and layered them in a more random way

The Happy word is one of the dies in the pack so that has been cut several times and stacked together to give a more solid word

The video to show you more ideas and how I created another card is ...

and I hope you will sit and relax for a little while to view it.

Oh! Hello ...

Hi Everybody,

This fun card was made a while ago and uses one of the magazine freebies from 2016.

I took my inspiration for this design from my friend Christine Smith over at Crafti Potential as she has some of the most fabulous fun cards that are easy to make

I made it into a shaker card and added sequins and glitter to the jar and it made a novel birthday card to send to male or female and any age group

The Hello has had Glossy Accents added to give it that shine to the two tone look

It is a 5x7 card but the jar would fit onto a smaller design if you preferred
