Ooops !!

 Hi Everybody,

Last week I added a post about a new collection that is being launched from Card Making Magic.

BUT ..... I added it a week too early !!
What an idiot (No Comment needed)

So I have taken it down again and it will be re added this week.
I apologise for any inconvenience but it will be back when the product is on the Craft Stash website.

In the meantime here is a sneaky peak at one of the cards that I have made with this collection and they are all really pretty and I really hope you will like it once it is here.

More will be shown when the product is available.

I will  also be back to show you what I bought at the craft show and I made  sure not to spend too much. 

But the days when I would save up for months and spend hundred's on Spellbinders dies are long gone.

Mags Wilkie - Winner

Hi Everybody,

Today I am meeting up with Pauline Hickey and we are going to the Craft Show In leigh.
We went together a while ago and both of us bought goodies that we have since used on our designs.
 We go for tea afterwards to the nearby pub and we always have a really long natter about all sorts of things we have been up to. 

Ruby will be going to Vickies for the day, and she will  take Ruby and Dougal for a walk this afternoon as the weather is fine.
So a good day will be had by all.

Friday Freebie - Altenew Magazine

Hi Everybody,

Today I am offering you the very first magazine that Altenew did with Practical Publishing a good few years ago.

In this pack there are stamps and matching dies as well as a stencil to create the background.

Inside the magazine there are lots of ideas, on what to do with the set, as well as some papers for you to use either as they are or with the dies. Your choice !!

Braided Ribbon

 Hi Everybody,

This pretty Lilac card is created using the Landmark Collection from a good few years ago so if you already have t then maybe it is time to get it out again for another airing

The main feature on this card though is the braided ribbon that I have added around the heart shape.

It is a technique that I videoed 11 years ago when Griff did all my filming, My goodness how things have changed since then, but I thought that this too would be good to get out once again.

I am sure that lots of you may have tried this in the past and then forgotten about it. 

Many things that we do come to the same conclusion and that is such a shame as many of them are really lovely ideas.

Sherry hay - Winner

Hi Everybody,

Yes!  another week has gone by and we are already into February. They say time goes faster the older you get and in my case it is whizzing past at a great rate of knots. I try to keep active and Ruby and I are going walking today, with my family, while it is fine. 

We are going to Lytham Hall and we usually stop in the café for coffee and cake at the end of the walk.
It is a good distance and we natter all the way round to catch up with each others news.
