The other day that I was sorting through my stamps and putting them in clear plastic wallets, and labelling them for easy future reference
Some of them are old ones and have been used quite a lot over the years.
But I thought that I would get them all out again and re do them with the Water Colours that I bought ME for Christmas !!.
So this is Tilda and I stamped her onto water colour card from Crafters Companion
I used Versafine Onyx Black Ink, because it is water proof, and I heat embossed her with clear powder.
Then I have painted her with Gansai Tambi paints.
She was so much fun and I really enjoyed colouring this image and I found a sentiment stamp that seemed to just fit.
I went over the wings with Wink Of Stella clear glitter pen to give a soft sheen to them.
The image has been cut out with the Pierced Rectangles from Spellbinders and then matted onto some card that blended with the image.
Another card that would be suitable for a child ... or maybe some adults would like it too
More tomorrow ...
Hugs xx

ReplyDeleteHello Christina, a really sweet card.
ReplyDeleteGosh it's years since I have used that image.
Must have a deeper rummage to see what goodies I might find.
Have a good day

Hi Christina
ReplyDeleteYour little Tilda is painted beautifully , love how you have done her wings, and the shadows on her jeans and grass looks really good.
I have made Thursday afternoons my painting time , i did manage a couple of shadows underneath some stones and pebbles after much playing about , and i was quite pleased with the finished card .
Take Care

Hi Christina, another beautiful card, you have inspired me I have bought a couple of stamps and some cheap watercolour paints to have a go, I was rubbish at art in school, and my stamping isn't good, but I am going to keep on trying.
ReplyDeleteKind regards. Anne Owens xx
Hi Anne. I flunked sewing in Home Economics in 7th grade, but I always had an interest in sewing (it's creative). So, I kept trying and took my time. Over the years, I had made a several items of clothing I was actually proud to wear and a few quilts. If it interests you, keep trying for the sheer enjoyment of it and see what happens. Big Hugs.
Deletecute card Christina. your coloring is excellent.xx
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Christina :) I've been loving your Wednesday treats!! What a lovely card! And your water coloring is second to none. I've managed to color all of my Crazy Birds and really enjoyed that. It's time for a new batch as I've already used all of them on cards. Thank you so much for sharing and inspiring. Enjoy a glorious day! Big Hugs.

ReplyDeleteA really cute card Cristina. Your water coloring is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteHi, Christina,
ReplyDeleteTilda is so cute! As always you've painted her beautifully. Anyone would be delighted to receive this card on their special day :). I got a phone call early this morning from Oyster Stamps telling me that the Sizzix Crazy Cats dies were due in today, so buying the watercolour set has been postponed for a couple more weeks lol. The dies weren't meant to arrive until March but they came in a month early. Great news...except the stamps, which should have been here this week are still outstanding so I'll have to wait before I can have fun playing with them...Perhaps I'll practise my painting with the colours I already have until I can get the Gansai Tambi 36 set next month :)
