This cute little image is from Mos Digital Pencil and is one of the Baby Fairies.
Once you have bought this you can instantly download it to your PC ... so no waiting for the postman to deliver it, and you can use it time and time. again, varying the sizes on your PC if you wish
This has been water coloured with Gansai Tambi and then I used Spectrum Noir Pencils for some of the highlights.
I made a sky background behind the fairy and cut it all out with the oval shape
The sentiment has been stamped and heat embossed onto parchment and then wrapped around the card front.
I added in the diamante flourish for a little decoration.
Then I added in some gold paint to the wings and that for me spoiled the image and I wish I had just left it alone Of dear !! never mind I can have fun doing it all over again ... or I could simply cut the wings off !!
More tomorrow ...
Hugs xx

Hi Christina, this picture is so cute, ? What's wrong with its wings, they look fine to me, but you are a perfectionist. X Ros
ReplyDeleteVery pretty!

ReplyDeleteLove Val in Spain x
Good Morning Christina :) Beautiful Card! Great coloring! I understand what you mean about the wings, but don't beat yourself up over it. It's still a Beautiful Card. In my very extreme humble opinion, I would have liked the wings to be a soft glisten or shimmer or transparent - ish sparkle.... something like that. With just a hint of color. How I would do that... I don't know.... that's where you come in. And if/when you figure it out, please show us how it's done. Thank you so much for sharing this precious little one. Enjoy a fab day. Big Hugs.
ReplyDeleteHi Christina
ReplyDeleteLove the background of this card, but I'm afraid I like my Fairies to look like Fairies.

ReplyDeleteHi Christina
ReplyDeleteWell it still looks a beautiful card to me Christina. It shows that even experts like yourselves think that somethings they do don't look right.
Christina too cute!! and all the detail is lovely. I guess i end up cutting wings off images like tjis because i don't know what to do with them. I may try stamping the wings on acrylic and see if that works. ( probably wouldnn't). I am wanting to get up the courage to try digital stamps. Guess i need to "Google " to find out what paper to use etc.
ReplyDeleteU sure brighten our dsys.
