This pretty in pink card is using another new die from Staceys Art Deco Collection and this one is named Fairmont. There are some beautiful dies in this collection and it is well worth you taking a look as there is sure to be something that catches your eye. There are some really large dies that can create the whole card base and then you can decorate it from there.
There are three sets in the Fairmont dies that can be used as stand alone dies or they will all work together to give you a beautiful look.
Art Deco Fairmont Labels is the plain label shape that has been used to create this base card in pink and it has been hinged together with the fold at the top.
The white layers have been cut with Art Deco Fairmont Decorative Accents and added to the card with foam pads.
I haven't used the other set but it is Art Deco Fairmont Decorative Element but it is just as stunning as the others and I love to work with these large and distinctive dies.
The flowers, pearl string and flower centre are all from Wild Orchid Crafts and they have been sparkled with Glitter Magic. I have added in some white enamel dots from Want2Scrap as an extra highlight
There is also a new video over on YouTube with more of the dies from the Art Deco Collections ... and for the next two weeks there will be two videos each week on Monday and Thursday covering various techniques. I really hope you enjoy them
More tomorrow ...
Hugs xx

ReplyDeleteHi, Christina,
ReplyDeleteI hope Blackpool is basking in the sunshine today:)
This card is beautiful, I'm really falling in love with these new dies and at least a few of them will end up on my wish list. Now that I'm officially a 'senior citizen' I find that I will have a bit more spare cash around than I did when I was on disability benefit, so it looks like I'll be saving up for some new supplies (after I've renewed the household items that need it). I think the first stop will be Papermill Direct and then WOC for a nice big flower order. Looking forward to your next card made with the new dies.

ReplyDeleteHi Christina. Beautiful card snd I love the pink and white X
ReplyDeleteChristina, Beautiful card.
ReplyDeletecan you explain how to know from the Spellbinder names if a die is actually going to cut out a design completely or if it will just decorate a "label" one already has? I'm so confused I bought "Adorning Labels Twenty Five" . This Nestabilities is meant to only cut designs into the freestanding Labels twenty Five". Can you help me understand what label names mean an item is meant to be used to enhance a basic label versus one that actually makes a"cut and take" label. Above you used "Labels" and "Decorative Accents" both will cut free or away from the card stock, but not all "Element" or "Adorning" dies make freestanding cutaway cuts. Sorry if this is a bit confusing.
Another very lovely card Christina! Love the layers and this die set is awesome.
