The card for today is Neenah Desert Storm and I was really happy with the way this one turned out and this was also a try to see what it would look like using colored card
The stamp I used is Peony Scrolls from Altenew and there is a matching die set that you can buy also.
I buy mine from Sevenhills Crafts Leave your name on their website to be notified when the stamp is back in stock if it is out when you visit
The little sentiment is one of many on the sheet called Sentiments and Quotes also from Sevenhills Crafts
The Spectrum Noir pencils are lovely to work with and I was really happy with the way they worked on this card and I will be trying more with different stamps in the future
This card was colored in the same way as I did the Black card from a few days ago that was featured in my YouTube video on the 3 rd March
More tomorrow ...
Hugs xx
That looks really nice on the darker card

This is a beautiful card Christina. I love the stamping in white on the darker color card - it really makes the image and coloring pop.

ReplyDeleteStunning card, have tried to get this stamp but not available anywhere....luv Ursula xx
ReplyDeleteLovely card like the color cs. as well as the blk. one from your tutorial. Do you use the solvent with your stumps when you color to blend
ReplyDeleteYvonne.
For this card I have not used anything other than the stumps .. exactly as I showed in the video for the black card
Deletevery very pretty, you colour well Dianax
ReplyDeleteLovely card and colouring. So far only used my pencils on white card. Must try the coloured card. Love the pencils
ReplyDeleteOMG, Christina...this looks even more beautiful than the one you made on the black card! The pencils are so rich in colour aren't they. I think you're onto a winner here :).
ReplyDeleteWell, the sun is shining for a change down here and it looks like a nice day...until you go outside and watch your fingers drop off in the cold. The wind is sharp enough to cut you in half and, of course, I live on top of the hill with nothing to stop it barrelling through my garden. I think I'm in the best place right now (after having to go out earlier), on the sofa with the dog cuddled up to me...heaven :)

That is an absolutely beautiful card X
ReplyDeleteAnother stunning card today Christina, coloured in beautifully your talent is endless, and I love all of your work.
ReplyDeleteKind regards Anne Owens xx

ReplyDeleteHi Christina. Lovely card with fabulous colouring. Not my strong point! X
ReplyDeleteHi Christina, just beautiful! I think it works equally as well on this coloured card, but the black card does look more dramatic if that's the look your after. x
ReplyDeleteLove the stamp you have used on this card. The colours are very pretty.

Hi Christina! I love your colors & how you blended them! Love that stamp too! Beautiful Card!! And to
ReplyDelete+Yvonne Nicholson, you blend with these pencils using a product called "Gamsol". I found it nearby where the pencils were sold. But you can also find it in a Craft/Art Store in or around the same aisle as the turpentine, and similar items, though it will be in a bigger container than if you found it near the colored pencils.
Hope that helps you! ;)
The colours have been blended without the use of any Gamsol just the same way as I did with colouring the black card in the video.
