Todays card is a real romantic one and I thoroughly enjoyed making this one. It has all the elements that I like to add and some more as well. I have used several different dies to create my look and the finished card is 5x7.
I have used some of the leaves from the Stack and Fan Flowers and the Flourishes from the Cinch and Go Flowers
The beautiful flowers and the green leaves are a mixture from Wild Orchid Crafts The floral lace and the silver corners are also from WOC The silver leaves I have had in my "Stash" for a long time and I can't remember where I got them from.
I used the edge of my scissors to roughen up the edges of the paper for a shabby chic look and then once the card was completed I added some white Gesso and glitter to those edges.
I am pleased with the result and this is definitely on the same street as me ...
Don't forget to check out YouTube this week as I have two videos going "Live" one tomorrow and the other on Thursday.
More tomorrow ...

Good Morning Christina :) Ohhhhhhhhhhh........ I Loooooooooovvvvvve thissssssss. I'm just sitting here staring at this card and I'm being transported to a world of Victorian lace, parasols, pearls, beautiful long lace dresses, flowers everywhere, gentility, ultimate femininity and carriage rides through the park on a clear summer's day..... Ahhhhh... I'm back! But that was Awesome! Beautiful, Beautiful Card Christina. Thank you sooooooo much for sharing. Enjoy a glorious day. You just made mine perfect! Big Hugs.
ReplyDeleteHi, Christina,
ReplyDeleteWOW!!! This card has blown me away! I bet I'll get nothing like that for my birthday next week lol. My sister doesn't do 'frilly' at all and HATES shabby chic, so it will be a funny card again this year...most likely making fun of my advanced years seeing as I've finally become old enough to change my disabled bus pass for a 'blue stripe' one lol.
I hope it's nicer in Blackpool today than it is down here in Truro...dull and dreary after the couple of beautiful sunny days we had at the end of last week. At least it's dry though, good job as I have some important work to do outside today.
Have a great Sunday, everyone.
