My eldest daughter has bought Ella a new cat tree as she loves to be up high and away from Ruby ... and Dougal when he visits.
Ella can feel safe up there while she surveys all that is going on around her.
I was pleasantly surprised that she took to it as well as she did and now she sits up there every day.
She can sit at different levels to look through the window and watch the birds and people as they pass by and it keep her entertained for ages.
Then when she has had enough she curls up n one of the centre parts that are enclosed and goes to sleep.

It is quite a large tree but it fits into the bay window and doesn't block out too much light, and it keeps her happy which was my main objective.
It was a bargain too as the lady who sold it found that her cats wouldn't use it and so she needed to get rid of it. Ella loves it

ReplyDeleteGood Morning Christina. I can see who holds Topp spot in your house Christina ... lol. Good for her. She knows how to keep herself to herself and keep up with all thats happening. We have Alfie our king of the house. He is a ruby coloured king Charles spaniel and certainly rules our house. Although he is 10 and a half now so he has the aches and pains of arthritis and is slowing himself down now. He is our baby. Thankyou Christina for letting us into your private space. Hi Christina, Ella certainly is a lucky puss and she has definitely taken to it hasn’t she?!! I guess she amuses you with her antics in there ~ my two Siamese used to love their “house tree” and I had so much fun watching them, they were such characters.

ReplyDeleteHi Christina, that's more of a cat castle than a tree isn't it. When I has six cats they would each have their own place on the castle I had for them. A couple hated the platforms but loved the two hammocks that were lower down. I just have three cats now and no castle sadly, so they find other places. My largest will find the smallest box he can and curl up in it, the other two love the bed...until Ben pounces on them. You know just how bouncy Cockers are don't you ;). Ella seems to be saying she's the queen right up the top, and what a great place for her to be, right where she can look out of the window if she wants.

ReplyDeleteIt is some height, my cat's tree looks small in comparison. Been looking for a new one for her christmas. She has 2, 1 in living room and 1 in dressing room. She's got a large scratching post as well.
