Here are some more cards created using up the scraps and left over bits and pieces that I have lying around my craft room.
You may recognise some of the papers as they were hand made on videos to highlight a particular technique.
I keep all the bits that are left as even some of the small pieces can be die cut into some kind of shape that can be added to a card.
I will do another video using some of the those little shapes so that you can see how I have put them to good use.
These have also been added to an embossed panel and then decorated with mirror or pearl card for the strips around the coloured shapes.
Once again I have used the Nuvo Drops, but I must admit I am not a fan.
I prefer the flat backed self adhesive pearls that can be added, or sequins.
But I am determined to use up the items that I already have and not buy anything new.
Bye for now ...
Morning - you and I are definitely on the same wavelength. I keep saying I’m not going to buy anything new and then you go and show something I haven’t got and sure enough I have to have it! Oh well I’ll just have to get another cupboard!!!
ReplyDeleteMore lovely cards made with bits from your bitbox. I haven't got many leftover bits but funny enough that's our challenge this week at my friend's blog. Take care going out, very windy outside x
ReplyDeleteAnother great sample cards of using leftover paper and others!
ReplyDeleteHi Christina, how do you do it ~ two more unique cards from left overs?!! I particularly like the dry embossing on the ‘Celebrate’ card and the rickrack braid effect on the second. Many thanks, once again, for sharing!

Nice cards made from left over pieces, will have to follow your example.

My bin of scraps and set-aside intended backgrounds is overflowing! I need to take a lesson from you and use them up! Beautiful cards!
ReplyDeleteOh Christina, I wish my scraps turned into something as creative as your cards. I caved and bought a craft box the other day...and now I have NO idea what I'm going to do with the things inside...especially as all the idea they supply mean I have to buy other supplies like resin, glues ink pads...etc...I'm going to sit on my hands when I see something I think I need and not be tempted seeing what lovely cards I might be able to make out of my scrap bin. Thanks so much for the brilliant ideas. Bejay Roles x
ReplyDeleteLovely cards as always Christina. Love Anne Owens ❤️
ReplyDeleteYour first comment this morning was me Janet Boyne. Forgot to add my name.
ReplyDeleteGreat use of scraps. Love the one with the butterfly. Looking forward to what you will do with the smaller pieces left.
