Now that Christmas is over and we have the new year and some spring warmth to look forward to and I thought it would be a good time to add some flowers to our cards.
So today I am adding a video that shows how I make some of the flowers that I like to add to my deigns.
For me they make a card look so pretty and they ca save money on the mulberry paper flowers that are for sale, and they are so satisfying to make.
Here I have used up the left over pieces from the inky panels I did for the cards I made before Christmas
Again this was very rewarding and each finished panel was different from the others.
It used up the Distress Inks that I already had and so I saved my money there too.

ReplyDeleteMorning - what a lovely timely video. I have most of the “stuff” you’ve used and this video has reminded me to use them. As always, thanks Christina. Janet Boyne
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Christina and all that visit today. A lovely video this morning. I love watching you make the flowers and I have made many by watching your techniques. It's so satisfying knowing the papers were handmade as well. Again I would love to spend a day just watching how you put everything together. I know we have the videos...And they are all very informative... But to be there , well that would be something. Thankyou so much Christina.
ReplyDeleteSending hugs 🤗 and best wishes to everyone. Please stay safe and well 🙏.Kind regards Ann Toppcards in Leeds

Hi Christina, beautiful cards, as always! I like flowers and will sometimes have a flower making session so that I always have some on hand when I need them. No crafting for me for a while so it’s particularly enjoyable seeing your creativity at work!

ReplyDeleteI'm behind in keeping up with commenting this week. Had to have my beloved Siamese kitty put to sleep on Monday and we have just been heartbroken over losing her.
I am so sorry to read this and you must be heartbroken. My thoughts are with you Cxx
