Opposites attract ...

Hi Everybody

These two cards are created following the Create a Frame with Spellbinders   tutorial.   I have used the same black and white card, the same embossing folder,  the same sentiment,   the same backing paper under the filigree pattern.

They are made using the same die and I have added the same flowers along the bottom ..... BUT .... wherever one is white the other is black.

The top one is my favorite ... it seems to stand out more.

The die used is the new Tapestry from Spellbinders and I bought mine  from Sunrise Crafts

I haven't added the usual list at the bottom of the page today because the only other die used is the Grand Labels for the base and  to create the frames for the card.

So start with the base and work your way through them.... one has a black base ...  the other is white.

One has the black centre ...  and the other is white.  One has black ribbon with white spots ... and the other is white with black spots.

The insides have been decorated the same and I have  added a label for a verse, a sentiment or a signature.

Even the pearly swirls are apposite on each card  and they are from Want2Scrap

The card did not look finished until the flowers were in place and sparkled with Glamour Dust and they are from Wild Orchid Crafts

Which ... if any ... do you like the best ??

More tomorrow...

Hugs xx

  4. I like both of them They're lovely Christina and it just goes to show how different a look you can get just by changing colours xXx

  5. I would choose the second one Christina, probably because there is less black. The design is lovely - you always do gorgeous layers. Pat x

  6. They are both so pretty! If I have to choose, it would be the white center, though. The black is very cool, but I like lighter colors, myself. Thank you.

  7. Hi Christina! Both cards are stunning and I love the new Tapestry Die! I would choose the second one with the white center although you must realize how hard that was to answer. I am happy to be back in bloggy land. off next week for surgery with Michael, hugs

  8. They are both just fab,I like the frist one it seems to "pop" more.

  9. Love the new die and both cards, my favourite is the black on white,
    Hilary x

  10. I love them both. I might have done the sentiment in gold on the white label so it stands out more than the silver

  11. Beautiful cards, but I like the black on white card base the best.

  12. I agree with everyone else, both cards a absolutely stunning; but I like the black on white card base a little more.

  14. Christina:
I love the top card. I think it really stands out. Just wonderful. I think the white really makes the black look sharp. Thanks for sharing both versions.
