This card is non traditional colors for Valentines Day ... the red and white one yesterday sold almost straight away
I made one like this last week and added it to my Etsy Shop ... it sold within the hour and ... and I am happy to say that this one has been bought also
This is using a lovely shade of Cornflower blue and it really is much prettier in real life.
Both of the hearts have the pearl "Bling" that matches the Spellbinders and it is from Want2Scrap
The background is the A4 folder Picnic Plaid from Crafters Companion.
The pretty blue and white Roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts
I have used the Ivy Leaf die from Crafters Companion and this is a die that you can use all year round.
The sentiment is one of the range called Sentimentals from Crafters Companion and there are several sets for you to choose each with a different theme. Read the verses and decide which suit your needs.
The little butterflies I had in my "Stash" and this finished card is one of my favorites.
More tomorrow ...
Hugs xx

Hi Christina,
ReplyDeleteOh my giddy aunt.....such a very beautiful card. I just love your designs and I'm so pleased to have found your blog. Love the way you have set the hearts out then added the flowers. I would also make a wonderful Valentine's card. Many thanks for all the inspiration you pass on to us.
Love Sheila xx
I love that colour anyway Christina but it is lovely how you have made it! Could be a good male Valentine's card. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful card Christina and it could be used for any reason apart from Valentine's Day. I love the hearts and the layout of the card, the embellishments are just gorgeous. Hugs, Jen xx

ReplyDeleteHi Christina, Just want to say hello and let you know I have been here. Sure do love your cards. Thanks for all you do.
ReplyDeleteI certainly can see why this is one of your favorites - mine too! I like the idea of using non-traditional colors and will have to give it a try. Thanks for always inspiring me when I come to your blog.
ReplyDeleteLove your style! Elegant, yet simply beautiful. Thanks
ReplyDeleteLove the colours on this one Christina, its a great feeling when you finish a card and feel really proud of what you've made and even better when you receive lovely comments. Like so many I've learnt so much from you and really get a buzz from the compliments off the recipients. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI love all your card tutorials and suggestions. I want to buy some Nestibilities, but I don't know which of the one's are the most versatile for card-making. Which is your favorite (or favorites). I'm a beginner.
ReplyDeleteThis again is beautiful, different to the usual red Valentines cards....your work is so inspirational, I am not surprised they sell so quickly....luv Ursula
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, love that color blue combined with silver!
