Thank you so much for your support on C&C yesterday and for sending in your emails.
It is much appreciated even though not many got read out.
This plain and simple card today is water colored and the butterfly is a stamp from Sheena Douglass
I have used Twinkling H2.0s for this technique and the effect is really sparkly once the paint has dried
The butterfly has been stamped and embossed with gold twice and then also painted
Apart from the stamped and gold embossed sentiment and the gold layers under the card there is no other embellishment on the card.
Water coloring is a subject that I covered with my Wednesday Card Class and we messed about with paint for some really pretty effects
More tomorrow ...
Hugs xx

Good morning Christina, I love the effects of this card, and for some reason I have never seen( to my knowledge seen how to do it). So as you have already been asked if you will be making a video on "How to" I'll await your reply. Enjoyed the show yesterday and I will tape today's just in case, so I can watch after our St George's day celebrations. Enjoy your day X Ros

Lovely effect. I love the colours. I'm useless at painting / colouring so will be sticking to the dies.Enjoyed the show yesterday - will be watching todays as soon as I get my housework done and probably be adding more dies to my wish list. xx
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Christina :) This is a Very Beautiful card this morning! I love the colors! Even though you indicate it is a "plain and simple" card, there is much more work involved here than a quick glance might reveal. You have such a wide spectrum of creativity you share and I am so thankful. Is there a video in the making on this one? Caught your two C & C shows and you were brilliant! Your cards were just amazing and the techniques you shared were wonderful! Thank you again for all you do for us. Enjoy a beautiful, sunny, snowless day… ours is finally gone… again.
ReplyDeleteHi Christina, well done on your show today loved all the demonstrations and the dies are beautiful. I tried to email in a few times but they just wouldn't send don't know why.
