This pretty design is using both of the new Weaving dies from Sue Wilson and they give a really unusual effect to your cards
The titles of them are Weaving Dies Classic and Weaving Dies Striped and both are available from Joanna Sheen
They can be used separately or together and the look will be different each time
For this card I have used both together to create the pink and white weaves and then added a large rose from Spellbinders Crafty Flower Four
The vine behind the flower is Foliage Flourish and the sentiment is Sentiments Three
The base card is created from Grand Large Labels but this has been retired from Spellbinders website.
How ever you may still be able to find retired dies if you visit other companies that deal with "Close Out" dies.
Have a browse around Save On Hobbies and the price will be reduced too but once they are gone there will not be any more
The turquoise card has used both dies again but I have added in the color just once and it gives another look to the design
The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and I have added diamante into each corner from Want2Scrap
The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley and there are many for all occasions for you to choose from
More tomorrow ...
Hugs xx

Christina I love the weaving in the card, a really useful one without flowers for the male cards. As I have 4 sons a real must. Thanks Ann
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are so lovely. The weaving dies are very creative. I love Sue Wilson products but they were pretty difficult to find in the US but, thankfully, it's getting easier. We do seem to have to wait awhile for the newest products. I suspose it's the same in the UK for things from here. I'm happy I can see these products used so beautifully here on your blog.
ReplyDelete2 lovely cards- will have to think about the weaving dies! I have the grand lg. label die and use it very often. Its a pity its been discontinued. Its a sun shine day today so will have to get the windows cleaned !!! xx
ReplyDeleteGood morning Christina, I really like the strong colours which show the weaving dies off so well. Not sure I can handle these strips of paper as on a fairly good day I still can't control the movements of my hands, so will just gaze at them. Have a great day. X R os
ReplyDeleteThe cards are both lovely, and I especially like the rose one! I do have Grand Labels, and it's one of my favorites!
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Christina :) The cards this morning are very nice. However, to be honest, I'm not a big fan of the Sue Wilson weaving dies. She has some other really nice die sets, but for me, this is not one of them. Thank you though for sharing your Christina Touch in using these dies. Enjoy a lovely day. Big Hugs.
ReplyDeleteTwo beautiful cards....the weaving turned out really nice
ReplyDeleteI can see this style in many colors.
Well done Sue
Both cards are gorgeous and I love the colors. Sue Wilson's dies are awesome but pricey and can't get them too much in the US>
ReplyDeleteWow! Christina, those cards are AMAZING, love them.
ReplyDeleteNow!! do I "need" those Dies or do I wait to see what Sue's new ones are like???
Decisions, decisions.
