I have used a pale teal color from AnnaMarie Designs for this card
It is another that uses the raised technique with the sentiment that I showed you in the video tutorial yesterday and also the embossed background but I have tilted it this time for a different look
On this card I have added all the pretty things I love to use and the addition of some beautiful Guipure Lace from Wild Orchid Crafts along the bottom
It is made with 5x7 Matting Basics A&B and I have created an embossed panel with Grate Effect
Classic Hearts and Classic Scalloped Hearts are the focal point and the top layer to the heart has been embossed
Around the heart I have added the matching pearl "Bling" from Want2Scrap
Bitty Blossoms with pearl centres and some of the leaves from Foliage make up my floral display and the effect is very feminine
More tomorrow ...
Hugs xx

ReplyDeleteI love this card, it's stunning. Love the technique that you've used on today's and yesterday's. Loving the lace and flowers as well.
Hi Christina, a very You card, very pretty and dressed beautifully. I will look out for Anna Marie at Ally Pally in a couple of weeks, the colours you have showing us over a few days are really lovely, and it looks as though she runs in colours as well as designs in her card. Have a Blessed Easter. X Ros

ReplyDeleteGood Morning Christina :) Ohhhhh I absolutely don't "like" this card….. I Love, Love, Love this card!!! I really like the tilted grated panel. I'm going to have to try that. This card reminds me of the Victorian Ladies all dressed up in their lace and pearls. And as Anne said - very classy. Just love it! Thank you so much for sharing. I can now start my day with beauty. Enjoy your day.
ReplyDeleteHi Christina
ReplyDeleteYour card is lovely today. Forgot to mention that the video you showed yesterday, on how to use the foam and double sided adhesive was very informative. I find your video tutorials very easy to understand. Thanks to watching these tutorials, I have learned how to do hinged cards and hinged filigree cards, and again thanks to your info, I am waiting for matting basics A & B to be delivered, it means I don't have to rely on having ready bought cardstock. The lace is used to good effect on this card and the whole card is gorgeous. Have a nice Easter.
regards
Joan
