It's water colour time again and this one has been done with a digital image from Make It Crafty
There are eight images in the Carefree Women Collection and you can colour them to suit any occasion that you want.
(There are also some excellent tutorials on their website to teach you how to get the most from these or any other images you may have either digital or stamped)
They are a lot of fun to colour and I am really enjoying all the practise that I am putting in to make myself better with water colours.
The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and I have used the mini glitter ball in the centre of the largest flower.
All of them have been sparkled with Glitter Magic
The rectangle shapes that I have cut the image out with are some of the oldest and very first Spellbinders I ever bought and they are now retired from their website.
More tomorrow...

ReplyDeleteGood Morning Christina :) OMG!! Well.... I'd say your practice has REALLY paid off! You've done a FABULOUS job on this piece Christina. AWESOME! I love this card. My sister had gotten me the entire Bird Crazy set for my birthday yesterday. The first think I did was stamp and water colored all the birds. Great fun! I love Water Color Wednesdays! Thanks so much for sharing. Have a fabulous day! Big Hugs.

ReplyDeleteHi, Christina,
ReplyDeleteI love that stamp...she looks like a young lady with positive attitude doesn't she and I love the way you've painted her. I'm treating myself to the 36 set of Gansai Tambi watercolours for my birthday in March, so I hope that I'll soon be able to practise...practise...practise and see if I can get as good as youy (I'll actually settle for half as good lol).

You are allready a pro. with water colouring. What patternpaper did you use for the background?
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely card! I am a huge fan of Make it Crafty images, and I have a great many of them, and it looks like I am about to add to my collection! lol! I adore what you have done with this, and although I have lots of water colours, distress markers and so on, I have not yet taken the plunge to use them. I really must, your post today has given me the urge to "have a go!" Thank you Christina! :)
