Hi Everybody,
After a few weeks of having problems I seem to have sorted it out. It has been a very painful process for me as I am not of a technical mind at all. But hopefully now it will work again. I have had to remove some of the pages and videos but hopefully I can can re instate them once I know it is all back to normal again.
But this is where I need your help. Could you come onto the blog and see if the buttons are responding again. Click the home page button an the tutorials one. Try the comments button and anything else you can see and let me know in the comments box what reaction that you are getting.
So it may look a little different but as long as it works again I don't really mind.
Just let me know in the comments box what is happening at your end and how things are looking for you

Hi, Christina; I checked the three buttons at the top of the page and the comments button. All four buttons worked great! No problems. Thank you for working so hard to get everything back up and running smoothly.

Hi Christina, sorry I don't know what happened to the message I started, anyway The Home page button is todays message, then video tutorial button is the creating cards long list from Card Making Magic web site, then tonic studios, special effect, shabby chic etc etc. messages from 2018 Cards to inspire you messages are from 2015. Let Connect on RHS doesn't work properly, email address isn't there, Facebook link doesn't exist. About me and complete profile are also not there. Blog Archives Works!! 2021 - 244 entries, 2020 - 205. The months are all there and can be opened to see all entries. Down the bottom in Label Cloud there is a huge amount of labels. The popular posts on RHS are quite old.
ReplyDeleteI hope this helps somewhat. All the archives are there so that's great, can always look up things. I do hope you have had help as it's a very frustrating experience. I'm lucky a family member helps me if I ever need it.
So glad you are back, i'm sure that's what everyone will be happy about, you have been missed.

ReplyDeleteHi Christina, I have had a look around and pressed all the buttons I could find and it appears to be all working ok. So sorry you have had such hassle with it, technology is a real pain when it goes haywire.
ReplyDeleteLovely to see you back and things seem to be working OK - only thing I could see is that clicking on 'view complete profile' works but there are no details other than the name of your blog. Sounds as if it has been a nightmare to sort out, fingers crossed all remains well.

ReplyDeleteJust a few things...I clicked on all the links from your home page and there were no major problems. However, when I clicked on your card making magic website, there was no button to 'return to home page' or something like that. When I clicked on the back button, from within my browser I returned as expected to the last page I was on in your flowersribbons and pearls site. So I decided to click on a 'button' to leave a comment. The envelope to the right of the Christina brought me to the blog page. Suggestion: The envelope is very small and for some may be confusing. Either change that to a button that is fairly large (or at least larger than the envelope) and have text that says'click here to add a comment'. Just a thought. Otherwise, everything including sub links look great.
Way to go you... Challenge yourself and you always end up a winner. Thanks for all your hard work.
