My little corner of Blogland where I can share my creations with you. There are many video tutorials as well as links to good quality websites for all your crafting needs.
Today sees the launch of a brand new pack called Butterfly Blossoms and it has beautiful filigree butterflies in there for you to add to your cards.
There are also some solid shaped butterflies, in colours and just white, that can be turned into easel cards, shaker cards or simply used as the shape to the card itself.
It is designed to help those that are new to card making as well as the more seasoned one of us that likes to make a quick but beautiful card
There is so much you can do with this pack and the papers are really pretty.
Some of them are foiled and there are many many sentiments for you to add.
For this card I have added the filigree butterfly to the top of a shaped plain one that has been covered in the paper.
Each portion of the pack can be bought individually
Here I have tried to give you some ideas on how to use the pack but I am sure that you will come up with many more as you start to play
For this card I have added the plain shape to a card front and then topped it with silver one from the paper pack and a sentiment.
Alter the size of the card too and create DL or Slimline cards as well as the larger sizes.
The world is your oyster ... so they say.
And you don't have to use the whole shape. Trim it down to fit your design and see what a difference that makes.
For this DL card I have used the papers from the pack and added the filigree shape to a plain one. I have allowed the wings to be free to give some movement to them
Have fun and you will be amazed at just how many cards you can create from this collection
If you have been with me for some time then you will know how much I like to fill a charity box up with my cards, and take it to the shop for my chosen charity to sell them.
Last week I took them 200 cards, and I always have each card with an envelope and I put them into a cellophane bag to keep them clean.
From the look on the managers face I know she appreciates my efforts and this is my way of supporting them as they sell them for whatever price they want.
So my bargain find was in Lidl as I was doing some shopping, and there tucked away at the back of a shelf was this fabulous card and paper.
The colours in both packs match and it is really good quality. Not cheap and glossy which I hate.
The card is 270gsm and has 25 sheets in it, and from each sheet I can make two cards.
The paper pack is 135gsm and and there are 50 sheets, two of each colour, making me two envelopes, to go with the cards.
It was inexpensive too so I bought two packs of each and took my lucky find home.
I got busy and made some cards, and then I thought I would film it, to share with you my find, and then hopefully if you wanted some too you would find it in your nearest Lidl.
The video is not long but I share with you the dies I have used from other sets to decorate my designs.
The main one is the A6 Flat Fronted Envelope Die that is part of the A6 Collection introduced last month
Now I can make lots of cards with envelopes to match, and I could always make plain white envelopes for everyday use from a 100gsm copier paper. Another idea would be to add a wax seal to the back of each envelope made from another die set that is from Pretty Book collection.
Today it is my turn to add a video to announce the launch of the new VIP Club where you can get special offers and deals every week. Membership means early bird deals and notification of any new collections as well as better prices over non members.

Today I have a video for you and I hope you will like the result. I have used Gold embossing powder to make these simple flowers look really special.
The water colouring is not hard to do and you will be surprised at just how easy it is. and so I really hope you will give this technique a try for your next cards
The combination of the coloured flowers and the gold leaves makes it look beautiful and of course your flowers can be any colour that you prefer.
In the video I made four cards that are all different and these are two of them for you to see.
I really enjoyed playing with this idea and I want to try the gold embossing on some black card next to see what that will look like
I will of course film it to share with you and hope that you will like that idea as well as this one.
Todays Card is part of a video that shows you how I created three cards using the one Trellis die set.
All the background dies in this new collection can be used to produce different looks for any of your projects, and they can be used to add more patterns to your box lids as well.
On this card I have added in some mulberry flowers that I have in my stash and some diamante that adds that luxury touch to any card.
And as always the flowers have been sparkled with some fine glitter and allowed to dry.
Once you have die cut the shapes and layers that you need don't throw away the pieces that fall out as these can always be used on another project.
I have used one of the stamped sentiment s for this card and there are many in the two sets to suit all occasions.
This is a paid for monthly subscription that is available from Craft Stash and brought to you each month by a different designer. It is delivered to your door and the boxes are full of "Goodies" to create beautiful cards and other projects.
This is my next contribution and it will be on your doormat in February. It has lovely heart designs insides so just in time for Valentines Day
Inside the booklet with this box I will show you how to make some lovely flowers from the foam and stamens inside the pack to add a beautiful large arrangement to your cards.
There is parchment, and two stamp sets, as aa well as dies and an embossing folder.
Plus a scoreboard with ideas in the booklet on how to create card folds and boxes with it. So lots for you to get busy with and keep you going flower making.
I hope you all had a good break over the Christmas Holidays and are now looking forward to 2022
To start the year off well I have a new collection coming out and this is the Decoupage Delights
There are three flower dies sets and three beautiful background dies as well as some sentiment stamps to accompany them.
The featured card is complete with its own box and I have used the Hellebore flower for decoration.
There are videos on the way about these new dies and more news in tomorrows blog post.
These dies were launched on the Craft Store with Lou Collins yesterday and they have been coupled on the TV shows with the Emerald Card and Box die set.
These box dies have been around for a little while and I did two videos using them when they were first introduced. I will add the videos here to show you the dies and refresh your memory if you bought them.
I hope you enjoy the videos again or if you are new to the blog then this may be your first time seeing them.
Today see the anniversary of Creative Stamping Magazine that is celebrating 100 issues of fabulous ideas and inspiration. This is a magazine that I have done many articles and videos for in the past and it is full of useful information that you can try out for yourself.
The video below was one that advertised the sale many issues ago but it contained one of my most favourite of all time stamp sets. I am adding it again so that you can see the value of the stamps that are attached to this magazine. By now of course that magazine will no longer be available to purchase.
But there is the new one in the shops now with all the Birthday wishes from designers who have contributed to the success in the past. The pages are filled with ideas for you to try for yourself that will show you how to get the best from the stamps that are attached.
So here's wishing Creative Stamping much more success for the next 100 Issues with lots more beautiful stamps and ideas for you to enjoy.
Tomorrow I will be on Craft Stash Facebook Live at 12-30 with Lou Collins, so I hope you will be able to join us then for some fabulous prizes that you can win.
You can also find Pauline on the Craft Store at 9 am and 1 pm. demonstrating the compete collection so make a date to watch that also
Because this 5x7" card is relatively flat I thought it would be a perfect match for an envelope, and be easier to give at the same time.
So I made myself busy and created this video to show you how I did it and I am quite happy with the results too.
I was originally only going to make one envelope for the card but as I made four cards I carried on and made the envelopes to go with them.
You can create your envelopes from copier paper if you prefer and then obviously they will be a lot thinner.
You could also use fancy papers too and that would make them really pretty especially if you had used some of the same paper on the card too.
Keep them clean and safe and they are always there ready to send when the need arises.
I have added the links at the bottom of this post to show you what I used and some of them are affiliate links. All this means is that if you purchase through the links then I get a small commission and it is at NO extra cost to you.
I hope you enjoy the video and like the results at the end and should you have the dies then I hope you will give this a try.
Todays offering is another of the two for one sets that came from two magazines published around the same time.
I have had them stored together and so that is how they are being offered to the winner this week.
And here is a video to show you what it actually consists of and to show you that it is a gift well worth having.
There is only the Simply Cards and Papercraft magazine with them though but it is full of ideas and inspiration
So once you have watched the video you can decide if this is something that you would like in your own collection and if it is then you know what to do .... leave me a comment at the end of this post with your FULL NAME
Then be sure to come back and see if it is your name that is listed as the winner
