You will have to forgive the abundance of water colored cards but I am having so much fun with these new Aqua Tints from Spectrum Noir that I can't stop
The stamps are all new too and I bought all of them from Make The Day Special and they are mostly stamps from Altenew
This one is called Sketchy Rose and it is lovely. The sentiment is from Sentiments and Quotes and there are lots on one stamp sheet
Along the bottom I have added some ribbon and lace and tied a little bow with satin ribbon from Mei Flower
The little pink pearls from Want2Scrap are dotted around the card ... but just a few.
The bows centrepiece is from Wild Orchid Crafts and matches in with the color scheme perfectly
I think it does me good every so often to step away from the style I am used to and try something different.
Brings a new freshness back to my crafting and then I am ready to come up with some new ideas to share
More tomorrow ...
Hugs xx

Good Morning Christina. Love you water colour cards & have just ordered aqua markers. would appreciate if you could maybe in one of your demos give advice on what we should start off with colour wise. Mavis xx
ReplyDeleteGood morning Christina WOW, for me you can play with the tints as long as you like, the effects are gorgeous as are the stamps. The way you have mixed some of the colours together make the overall look, stunning. Thank you for listing companies you use, as I have drooled over a couple of stamps made by the Altenew but I didn't realise we can buy them over here, so I am a very happy crafter. X Ros

ReplyDeletethis beautiful card is definitely a less is more kind of a card and just perfect in how it is. I know that you love your flowers and glitter and sparkle but this creation just doesn't need it. The AMD dotty paper looks lovely hinting in the back ground like it does. Thank you for a CAS beauty today.
Love and crafty hugs

Hi Christine Another card with not a die-cut in sight, but delightful none the less. As you say we all benefit from a change now and again. I am into Sprectrum Noir pencils at the moment and loving using them.

ReplyDeleteGood day Christina,
ReplyDeleteHow fun. Beautiful card.I like to see different things. Maybe I don't want to get set in my ways as I age. Lol -- I am not an artist however u have inspired me over the last few years. !!!
Guess I like do not have better water color pencils however feel blessed with the supplies I have. Last night I stamped an image and water colored it. Some places didn't show much highlight thus I lightly took a marker to shade the edges. Nevertheless, I was pleased and you again have inspired me. :) ~blessings, Louise
