A few weeks ago I treated myself to the Heidi Swapp - Minc Machine which through a heat process adds foil to cards for a really lovely look
As soon as I can I will add some videos to the blog to show some of the things I have done with my new toy but this week it is decorating and carpet shampooing .... busy busy busy !!
This card has the foil added to the background panel and is a really shiny hot pink shade.
Over the top I have layered Medallions Three and added it with foam tape to give height.
The white Hammered card is from the Papermill Direct. and creates a good base for most of my designs.
The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and they have been sparkled up with Glitter Magic
The little sentiment is from Clearly Besotted Stamps and I have just bought a whole load of new stamps and matching dies from them which I will also show you over the coming weeks. They are gorgeous too.
So Santa came early to my house and I am really pleased with my gift
.... from me .. to me!!
More tomorrow ...
Hugs xx

ReplyDeleteHi, Christina,
ReplyDeleteWow...I love the foiling. I've been looking at this machine for a while now but sadly it'd way out of my price range. I've been told that you can get the same effect by printing the design with a laser printer and using the foil with a laminator...well, I just happen to have been able to pick up an old laser printer dirt cheap (and one where the new cartridges don't need the sale of a kidney) and I've had a laminator forever...so I'm going to splash out on some foil to give it a go. If it works...I'll send you a pic but don't hold your breath lol.
My tree is still in the box and has managed to migrate from the corner of my craft room into the bedroom. I'm still trying to decide if my Bah, Humbug mood will lift enough for me to actually get it out and up. Christmas is going to be a lonely affair for me this year as my sis has moved to the other side of the country and I usually spend it with her. Unlike that woman on the Isle of Mann who has hundreds of presents under, in front of and around her tree, I will maybe just have one gift under mine, unless I go out an buy myself something to wrap up. I just hope she doesn't get burgled in the next couple of weeks...any thief would maybe leave me something lol.
Have a great day everyone and try to stay safe and dry.
