Letterpress Technique

Hi Everybody,

This pretty card is created with an Altenew 3-D embossing folder and the impression that these folders give is very deep.

For this card I have inked up one side of the folder in a Distress Oxide Ink and then spritzed it with a little water to make the ink run.

I then ran it through my machine and the ink is squashed into the design. Once I left it to dry this was the result.

I added the Hello sentiment in black card that has been stacked up three layers deep.

I layered the white panel onto some pink card and then added it to a white base card.

Because this card is only leaves then in a different colour it would make a really good male card.

For the blue one shown I have inked up the other side of the folder for a different kind of effect

Altenew Gift

Hi Everybody,

This pretty floral card is created using an Altenew stamp set that was sent to me as a free gift.

 I stamped the flowers randomly over the card and then coloured them with Alcohol markers. 

I used a very pale blue for the background just to take the whiteness out of the card.

But one of the stamps in the set was very personalised to me and I was delighted with it.

I used it to stamp the back of my cards and I will use this a lot in the future

So a big thank you to Altenew for my gift it is very much appreciated and will get used often.

Altenew Flower

Hi Everybody,

For this card I have been using one of the Craft Your Life kits from Altenew that I have collected over the years.

It has been coloured in using the layered stencil and then added to an embossed background done with a 3-D folder. I used pale blue card and a leafy folder to get the look

One it was embossed I ran over the raised areas with white ink pad to bring them out even more and that panel has been layered onto some glitter card.

I used a wet glue for this, as sticking things to glitter card can sometimes cause problems, as it doesn't stick very well.

The flowers have been added with foam pads to give dimension and one single pearl placed in the centre of the flower.  

I made an envelope from the Lidl paper to go with it and I am quite pleased with the result.
