Stamping Tips

Hi Everybody,

If you are a seasoned crafter then please just skip the next post  as I don't mean to talk down to any of you at all.

But I have been asked for help  by some ladies that are new to  all things card making ...  and especially about stamping.

They want to know how to get a clean finish to their work as some of them are left with speckles and a bit of  mess on what is otherwise a good piece.

So I have put together  a short video to explain some of the things I do when I want to stamp my sentiments, characters or scenes,  in the hope that  it may help some of the lovely ladies who take the trouble to write to me and ask my advice.

The video is not long and I hope it helps to answer some of the questions I have been asked and thank you for sending me your queries ... it is my pleasure to help wherever I am able.

More tomorrow ...

Hugs xx

  1. I think it is just awesome that you are willing to help those asking! For newbies, all these techniques can be so overwhelming and frustrating when you don't know where to begin or how best to do something. At those times it's great to have help to learn to do things so all your hard work doesn't end up ruined. Kudos Christina! :)

  5. Hi Christina, thank you so much for the video, quite helpful in every aspect. Like Marion, never thought about clear with color...thought it had to match. Also appreciate the tip on the paper...curled my share, very disappointing. You do a great service, a beacon of light for us crafters lost in the dark. I thank you for imparting your knowledge.

  7. Thank you, Christina, I always learn something new whenever I watch one of your videos! (In fact, I get through my ironing very happily because I always watch your videos at the same time!) This time it's the use of baby powder - I have a pad for wiping over my card that's meant to remove fingermarks, but it's not very satisfactory, so next time I'll try your tip!

I hope that you and your 'Film Crew' have a great Christmas and a very happy New Year!

    with love, Mags B xx
