Beautiful Card Designs Made Easy

Border Dies & Washi Tape

 Hi Everybody,

I am sorry again this week for my lack of posting but my mojo has seriously gone walkabouts.

I have done a video for today but I really struggled with it so I hope it turns out OK and that you enjoy it.

It is not long and it uses items that I already have so nothing new has been bought.

I am determined to keep up with using what I already have

Here is the video and I have used border dies that I already have and some Wash Tapes that I have had for quite a few years now.

Border Dies & Washi Tapes

I did need to replenish my Birthday cards and so these will go along way to restarting my ideas.

I thought this video may help me get back into the swing of things as I am seriously down in the dumps.

Christmas is not my favourite time of year and the disappointment with our meal out didn't help any either.
Then Ruby being poorly was the last straw,

But I need to talk sharply to my self and get going....

Bye for now ...

Hugs xx

  1. Hi Christina,
These cards are beautiful and a nice range of variations.
So sorry to hear that you are feeling down. I hope that Ruby is starting to respond to the new treatment and feeling much improved.
Such a shame that you had another disappointing Christmas meal experience.
There is such an expectation that Christmas be a joyful time to get out and celebrate. But the truth is that for some of us, it is not that special and trying to pretend it is just doesn't work. Also, some of the venues are so over-run (or poorly run) that they lose sight of the experience for the customer.
I hope that you can find an alternative way to enjoy some special time with your family.
I hope that your week improves and Mr Mojo bounces back.
    Best wishes MarieQ

  3. Oh dear sounds like a serious case of the blues. Hopefully this spot of sun and a crisp walk along the prom, prom, prom might go someway to helping. I like these cards and I have a good supply of washi tape so any suggestions are greatly appreciated. My suggestion to you is what about some kind of Z fold card - I like them. Chin up. 4. Good Morning Christina. Ohhh you are doing it again.. I don't know about you losing your mojo ... and I don't understand how you are putting yourself down ... But... These cards are beautiful and you have just refreshed my ideas for my line dance ladies cards. Just as I was thinking about having a clear out of my border dies... that I hadn't used for years... You bring these gorgeous samples out. So I will keep them, and it's so hard to let them go anyway . Your video is fabulous. And I really hope you have cheered up a little.
Sending hugs 🤗 and best wishes to everyone. Please stay safe and well 🙏. Kind regards Ann Toppcards in Leeds

  5. Hi Christina, so sorry to hear that you’re feeling down ~ Christmas isn’t a joyous time for me either so I tend to get away into the sunshine somewhere! Hopefully Ruby is getting better and you will be feeling more like your usual self very soon. I like both of today’s cards and I’ll try something similar once I’m home! I’m going to watch your video now ~ my bit of crafting therapy for the day!
Take care, big hugs. Maggie Coleman xx

  6. Yes I think a lot of us are trying to use what we already have, this cold damp weather doesn’t inspire any of us! Think of nice flowers to come, daffodils always cheer me up.

  7. It happens to all of us to have moments where we are not at our best and a little depressed.
I watched your video and it is very well done. The fragility of the dies must have been finicky to work with.
The end results and all the ideas you came up with are fantastic.
Hope you get back to your normal self soon.

  9. Beautiful cards with the pretty border die cuts! Great birthday cards to have on hand.
I hope Ruby is doing much better! Your mojo must have just needed a bit of a break... I did the same and took a little break from cardmaking but I'm back to it now. I should have used that 'time off' to do some organizing but I didn't!

I have border dies and punch but never thought of using them as such. Thank you for the inspiration.
