Old Spellbinders Die

 Hi Everybody,

I am still on my no spend kick and just using dies and items that I already have in my craft room.

This is a really old triple set of dies from Spellbinders and I have used them many times but never on the blog that I can remember.

Each of the panels layers on to the others to build up the design

I have used gold mirror card for the bottom layer. purple mirror card for the middle one and lilac card for the top layer

I have added in some little diamante flowers that have been coloured with alcohol markers to the centre of each flower.

Once the three layers have been adhered togehter they have been added to a black layer and onto another lilac layer  and then onto a black base card that is A6 in size.

The sentiment has been stacked with  four layers of white  card and a top layer of gold mirror card to give it depth, and a few more coloured diamantes scattered around

Not my usual style but pretty all the same.

Bye for now

Hugs xx

  1. Hi Christina. Let's try again. The last few days I've gotten error and haven't been able to comment so...
You are amazing for making all the cards and giving them to the charities. Can't believe that Ruby is 8 already and kitty is 3. Your cards are always beautiful and so is this one today, a nice spellbinders die.x

  2. Morning. Now that is really clever and I do like the result. Are they Sue Wilson? Did you see that she has given up her blog. I have followed her since I started card making. Such a shame. Janet Boyne

  3. Good Morning Christina and all that visit today. A lovely card today Christina. I think I vaguely remember dies like these ... Where you build them up to make one ornate die. I didn't buy these because at the time I was just starting to craft and I used to love to print and make my own embellishments. That was many years ago. Now ... Like you Christina ... I have so many dies ... I have forgotten what I do have. A huge sort out is needed ... But I don't know if I can bear to part with some of them . They were bought for special cards and occasions . Thankyou Christina.
Sending hugs 🤗 and best wishes to everyone. Please stay safe and well 🙏
