Hi Everybody,
Today I am adding a video that will show you how I made the backgrounds for my cards, and depending on which side of the folder you prefer it will give you either a debossed or embossed design
This card has used a 2-4-1 die that I got from Amazon, and these are the results from the inky background
You can dress them up any way you would like and they would make really good masculine cards
... minus the flowers' !!!

You could try this with coloured mirror card and that would make a real difference to your design.

The Stazon is a but messy and you will need the special cleaner to get it off your fingers or any stamps you use it on.
But it adheres to mirror card better than anything else to give you this look.
These are just some of the cards that I made for the video and I hope you enjoy watching.
I hope you will leave a comment on the video and consider subscribing if you haven't' already. It means a lot to me and really makes a difference to the YT Channel
Bye for now
Morning - I do like the look of these cards. I’m sure I have something similar lurking in the depths of my stash. You have given me food for thought. Thanks. Janet Boyne
ReplyDeleteMorning Christina, these cards are very attractive and the ‘grid’ die suggests lots of possibilities to me ~ I must check and see if it’s still available! Thanks so much for sharing.

Love how you have used the dies and embossing folder, I've never thought of using Stazon like that, thanks for the inspiration and have a lovely day Sue xx
ReplyDeleteTwo lovely cards Christina, ideal for valentines cards.

Just watched your video. All the cards turned beautiful. So many great ideas.
ReplyDeleteIt must take such a long time to make all of them and edit the video as well!
My granddaughter has been making cards with me for her teachers and friends.
She often will use the debossing side a panel. She loves that look.
Thank you for all those ideas.

Hope you and your fur buddies are safe and warm. Either card would bring a smile on someones face. Very effective. I like the black and silver. Take care. Vicki L Phillips
ReplyDeletewhen i first saw the card i thought you hand cut them. then i saw the die. wonderful 2-4-1.
ReplyDeletewhat a great technique Christina, love it!
ReplyDeleteLove this card i have used aluminium foil which has six sheets through the embossing folder and then used the dye to finish off . It's one of my favourite dyes. Love your feminine take on it
ReplyDeleteThese are great! Sharon Brand
