Hi Everybody,
We have some snow ... but it is the wet mushy kind and it won't stick around for long.
Neither Ruby or Ella will go out in it and they scurry back inside where it's warm.
Can't say I blame them though as it's much better inside ... and looking at it through the window.

I am starting the new year off with a new sofa and chair. The one I have is too low and too deep and once I get in there, with my dodgy knees, I can't get up again.
So I have gone for one that is higher and shallower and hope that does the trick.

My old sofa has gone and the young man next door moved it for me this morning. The new one comes on Tuesday which will give me time to get the room ready.
The only problem is that Ruby used to sit on the back of the old one, to bark at the world, and she wont be able to do that with the new one.

ReplyDeleteWell done Christine that looks like a lovely gift, it’s been snowing here and my grandson aged 11 ran out and built a snowman, my other grandson aged 13 was with him too, but he came in because his hands were freezing my daughter gave them rubber gloves to wear and the youngest put them over his gloves, while the elder grandson put them on under his gloves so his hands were freezing, stay warm everyone. Love Anne Owens ❤️
ReplyDeleteHi Christina, I’m in agreement with you ~ it’s best to stay warm inside and appreciate the beauty of the snow through the window!!

Congrats to Christine! Enjoy the beautiful prize!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to the winner. We have had snow too, luckily it’s raining now so hopefully it’ll all be gone by tomorrow morning.

Congrats on your win Christine. Oh animals are much smarter than us humans, not going out, when don't need or want to. Especially in cold weather. In this weather I always check my cat's paws when she comes in from cold. If they are more than cold, I wrap them up in my hands to warm them up.
ReplyDeleteYou won't be popular with Ruby when new seating arrives. Yes i am same prob with knees, i bought a riser chair but my physio wasn't best pleased, she says I should try using my core muscles to get out of chair. Ha ha
Hope new seating works for you xxx
My daughter who is a qualified physio told me NOT to get a riser chair as it makes your muscles lazy, and you can’t manage without the chair. much the same as your physio.
