Simply Cards & Papercraft - Wild Flowers

Die Cutting Essentials 64- Memory Box Die

Hi Everybody,

Today Die Cutting Essentials 64 is due to be on sale in your local supermarkets and craft stores, but it may be delayed due to the current situation.
And sadly I don't have a copy to show you either

The product that is with it this month is a lovely Memory Box Die Set called  "Under The Sea"

This is only the second time that Memory Box have been added to the magazines and it is well worth adding to your collection.

For this first card I have added the die cut just as it is and inked over it with Blue print Sketch.

I coloured the small fish and added them with little foam pads to the inner portion of the frame, and then used a white gel pen to add the bubbles

The sentiment is also from the set

The background for this card I created with Brusho Crystals and I cut into the die cut to add to one side of the card front.

The plants and the fish have been coloured and dotted around the card with more bubbles added to them

Quick and easy cards to make. So keep a look out for the magazine when you venture out of your house.

Die Cutting Essentials 63 3-D Basket

Hi Everybody,

Die Cutting Essentials will be in the shops today the 12th march 2020 and the offer this month is for the dies to create this basket.

Fill it with all manner of goodies and it's just in time for Mothers day.  I chose to add flowers to mine as they are always a welcome gift.

But in the video I decided to make a card and show the versatility of this little die set.

It's not long so I hope you will enjoy it with a cuppa.

There is no magazine to show you this month as it has been very late getting to me and so I had to go ahead and create the video with out it.

Simply Cards & Papercraft 203 Layered Peonies

Hi Everybody,

This months Issue of Simply Cards & Papercraft comes with a lovely Layered Peonies Stamp & Die Set to help you make some beautiful cards.

In the video I show you how I have used these layering dies to get the results I wanted.

You will be better with three shades of one colour in a light , medium and a dark to get the best look for your blooms, but they are easy to do once you get the hang of them.

Some of the things I have found on my desk and so I decided to add them onto my design ... 

waste not want not so they say !!

Simply Cards & Papercraft

Hi Everybody,

Are you looking out for this months Simply Cards & Papercraft magazine? Especially after the tip of what was going to be in it in the last video I did.

It is of course the lovely Fern Leaf Die and Stamp Set and it will match beautifully with this months Geo Panel Die that was in last weeks Die Cutting Essentials.

It is a really good way to build up your die sets especially if you're a Bright Rosa fan.

Die Cutting Essentials 62 (DCE62)

Hi Everybody,

The goodies with this months Die Cutting Essentials is a lovely Geometric Panel from the Bright Rosa Collection by Paula Pascual.

It is very handy and will suit male and female cards and is something that can be used all year round.

The video will show you how I created this card and for this I used Gilding Flakes

DCE62 Bright Rosa Panel will be on sale this week on the 13th February.

Next week you can build on your collection with another Bright Rosa die that comes with Simply Cards & Papercraft 202 so look out for that one on the 20th February

The magazines are a mine of inspiration and a superb way to build up your crafty stash with your favourite hobby whatever it is ... cardmaking, die cutting, stamping. lettering, crochet or knitting/

Die Cutting Essentials 61 - Tonic Studios Die

 Hi Everybody,

This months Die Cutting essentials will be on the shelves tomorrow the 16th January and this pretty die will be with it.

Die Cutting Essentials 60 (DCE60)

Hi Everybody,

The offer with this months Die Cutting essentials is a die and stamp set to help you make Waterfall Cards.

There are lots of ways to make these designs but in the video I show you the way I do them the way that works for me.

But if you have a way that works better for you then use that and the end result will be the same.

You can also use the other elements in the set for other card ideas and I have created a shaker card using the same dies

You will find lots more ideas in the magazine and it will be on sale tomorrow the 19th December.

It is a die that you can have some fun with and children will love the way it works so make sure it is strong enough to withstand the pulling action from them

Simply Cards & Papercraft 200 - Altenew Modern Anemone

Hi Everybody,

 This months copy of Simply Cards & Papercraft is a very special edition because it is the 200 copy since it came to the shops way back in November 2004. 

It has got better and better over the years and it is one of the magazines I first subscribed to at the start.

So this month you will get an Altenew Stamp and die set called Modern Anemone and the video will show you how I used it to make some really pretty cards.

You can also download some papers to go with the dies and stamps but I don't imagine this copy will last long on the shelves so you will need to be quick. Altenew is always a favourite and one that everybody wants to have.

I hope you enjoy the video and as I said in the film my hands have black acrylic on them and it won't wash off.  I will show you after Christmas what it is I have been doing with the glue and black paint and glitzy things I have been collecting as they are presents for my girls
