Happy Birthday Mum

 Hi Everybody,

This was a card I made some time ago and I have to say it is one of my favourites.

I love the flowers and the tiny organza butterflies as well as the colour scheme and the diamante.

I used the Alphabet set from my own dies and I covered them with Glossy Accents and a little shake of glitter.

I don't have a mum to send this too but I would be very happy if someone sent something like this to me

The Distress Oxides that i used are Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch and Mermaid Lagoon.

They always make a beautiful blend  whenever I use them and Distress Oxides blend so easily too

You can just amke out the spattered effect that I did with water onto the background and this just lifts a little bit of colour from the inks

More tomorrow ...

Hugs xx

  9. Hi Christina, Lovely card and I was trying to follow the links to the box dies, both from the original email and this blog, and all I am getting is
    https://linkdeli.com/view/589faa0a-3685-4840-98b1-ad8586020711
I'm sure I can go to Craft Stash and find them there, but I assume the reason you have the links is to make it easier for us to find the products.
    Bless you
    Chris

  11. Hi Christina
I love this card and the colour scheme is beautiful. I don't seem to get on with the oxides- I prefer just ordinary distress inks

  18. It’s a very lovely card that I would love to send my Mom if she was still with us or receive from my children. It’ll be 2 years since my Mom passed in Feb. It seems like yesterday. I love the beautiful flowers and the large alphabet letters you used from your collection. .
