A Tidy Craft Room |
And the only reason it is ... is because I am going away.
I can't leave my house messy when I go away.
I always have to clean and tidy first and I bet I am not the only one that does this.
So this is my craft room in a tidy state and the rest of the house is being done after this post.
But I wanted to show you what a good girl I was and how nice it all looks when it is tidy.
I will show you some more when it's not ... looks like a tidal wave has hit it then.
Have you noticed the ribbon rolls on a curtain pole?
This is a really option from Ikea and the rolls fit onto it really well.
At the moment the pole is lying across the handles to the cupboards but Griff is going to fit them to the walls for me when we get more hanging brackets from the store.
The whole lot .... pole, finials and brackets cost a couple of pounds and will fit the bill for what I want to do.
And is just as good as some expensive ribbon holder. I will show you once it is added to the wall.
Even the part where I do my colouring in is tidy ... for now and I am feeling really pleased with myself.
Hugs xx
It is beautiful room Christina. I love the window just above you and the ribbon holder, also the handy little buckets hanging on the wall for pencils etc and of course you collection of dies :)

Love your craft room and all your toys! ...and what a good girl to clean up before you leave! Enjoy your holiday.
ReplyDeleteLove your craft room. When I go somewhere I too make sure my house is spic and span, cause usually when you get back from vacation you need a vacation to recoup from the vacation. lol So the last thing I want to have to do is housecleaning.

ReplyDeleteLovely space to have to craft in...and oh so clean! You should be very proud of yourself.
ReplyDeleteYour craft room is fab, great use of storage and I am the same, everything has to be tidy if going away and I even have to tidy after each project :)
ReplyDeleteHi Christina, First of all, I hope you are having a lovely cruise, those lovely places, I'm so envious ha ha. I'm also envious of your 'very tidy' craft room, I don't think my craft room was as tidy as that before I started crafting in it ha ha !! I managed to tidy one side of the room but the other sides are a complete tip, the thing is when it is a mess, ie when I have been on a spending spree and just dumped the various bags somewhere, I can always find what I'm looking for, when I've 'tidied' I can never find anything I want ha ha, that's my excuse anyway, my craft room is like 'the black hole', some things I never see again ha ha.
ReplyDeleteLots of love from Patricia xx
PS Bring some sun back for us ha ha. xx
What an awesome craft room, Christina!! I would love to create in there!! I hope you have a safe and wonderful trip!! I'm sorry I haven't been around in a bit...I just got back from vacation and am trying to catch up. I can't wait to see all of your amazing and inspiring projects I missed while I was gone!!

Wow your crafting space is genius ! I love how your supplies are all out in the open, when I moved to Ny my room is angles so I don't have a back wall anymore and I find it so much harder to craft without being able to visually see most supplies =( Any way I Just wanted to let you know your space rocks!!!! I just found your blog and am following =) OH and by the way I love your blog name its so girly and perfect!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Christina, just found your fabulous blog via another blogger who linked your great tutorial on the origami box and lid. I've now made a couple of them and wanted to thank you for such clear precise instructions.
