Hi Everybody,
I was going to do some filming yesterday but it was absolutely teeming down and the rain beats so hard on the glass sky lights in my craft room I couldn't hear myself think. So I gave it up as a bad job and will aim for another day instead
But I was busy making glue bottle pins and I now have six to give away.
So if you are already a beader then be kind if you should get one, they may not be to your standards
I am enjoying making them but I am very new to this and I don't profess to be a jewellery maker by any stretch of the imagination.
I did a video eleven years ago on decorating hatpins and would you believe it has had 25000 views.
So I think it maybe time to re-new that video and bring it up to date.
I also made some little Angel pins to add to a journal or scrapbook page. Or maybe add it to a lapel.
You could also use them to add to any card that you make
There is no other decoration on them as I didn't finish them as glue bottle pins.
But they are just a pretty little Angel wishing you all the very best from me.
More tomorrow ...
Hugs xx
Lovely pins Christina.

Good Morning Christina. So sorry to have not posted for a few days we have been on a dance festival in Northampton in the middle of a field with no internet whatsoever. We had a greatvtime.
ReplyDeleteSo, these glue pins. I LOVE THEM. I need them . I am forever losing mine on my workspace . What a great idea ... And easy to see. How do we get the giveaways please. Or have you a tutorial on the give away ones. ..
Sending hugs 🤗 and best wishes to everyone. Please stay safe and well 🙏
Kind regards Ann Toppcards in Leeds
Very pretty indeed Christina, I also make these as well as the stick pins and love doing it, all turn out so different and always so pretty....no two ever the same and we all look at things differently so don't think they are up to anyone's standard, who sets the standard, it is how you perceive it. I would love one made by somebody else that's for sure. I make these and give them away as random little gifts to crafting friends, along with my pins. Thank you....luv Ursula Longworth xx
ReplyDeleteLovely Pins. Just the job for keeping glue bottles clear. Kim Cranson
ReplyDeleteLove your glue pins. I was lucky enough to win one of your cards some time ago and it had a decorated pin on it. It was so lovely that I made it into a key ring.

I have never heard of a glue pen, so love that idea. I usually just find a sewing pin and stick in it, but yours is such a lovely idea. The angel pins are adorable. Is your video still available? I would love to learn how to make them and find where I can get the pieces to make them.
ReplyDeleteYour glue pins are lovely and I would love to win one when it’s time when you plan to give them away. I adore your sweet angel pins! They will look beautiful and will add a special touch to a card. I would love to learn how to make them. Thank you for continuing to share your talents with us!
ReplyDeleteHi Christina. These pins are gorgeous. I always have terrible trouble with glue bottles as they clog up all the time even with the lids on. Very frustrating. Your lovely jewelled pin idea would help I’m sure.
ReplyDeleteYour Angel stick pins are beautiful too. I’m sure I watched your video some time ago now but would love to see a repeat. Betty. McAlister
Hi Christina
ReplyDeleteOh wow, these are beautiful and I remember watching your tutorial years ago so must give it another go. That's a great idea using them as glue pins but seems such a waste when they are so lovely. Thank you for sharing your talents.
Hugs and best wishes
