New YT video

Hi Everybody,

Today there is a new video on YouTube for you to view

This is featuring another magazine freebie that will be on the shelves next week the 25th August.

It is Papercraft Essentials 137 and the gift with the mag is the Birch Tree Embossing Folder and Cute Stamps

This stamp set can take you all through the year and cover many occasions from Spring to Winter

In the video I have tried to show you some of the ways that you could use it but I am sure that you will come up with many more as you play.

Here are just two ideas one for Summer and the other for Christmas and it is the top card that I make in the video

Don't forget to reserve your copy at the newsagents. Or look for it in your local supermarket or craft shop.

And you can buy the magazine or a subscription from  Moremags

Water Colour Wednesday - Pink Flowers

Hi Everybody,

For this card I used the Whimsical Flowers stamp set and the Pink collection of Crisp Inks from Altenew.

The stamp has a matching die to cut out the flowers and is a useful addition to your "stash"

I bought all of them and also the Hello die and stamp set from Sevenhills Crafts

It was really easy to do and I simply repeated the flower over the card and then coloured it by adding some ink to my glass mat and mixing it with water

Just a little strip of glitter tape down the side and a few sequins dotted here and there and the card was done

Quick easy and lots of fun to make and will go into my stack of ready made cards for the times when I am asked suddenly "Do you have a card for ---- "

I am sure that you know what I mean and you get asked the same question out of the blue.

It is always handy to keep some flat cards on hand that can be for lots of occasions.... Just in case !!

Tuesday Tutorial - Criss Cross & Flowers

Hi Everybody,

Todays card is quick and easy because the dies and the flowers do all the work for you .. all you have to do is add them to your card.
I am using an older background die so if you have this in your collection then now is the time to get it out again
Spellbinders Supplies:
Other Supplies:
With die # 7 from Matting Basics A cut two panels in white and create a hinged card
(Die #1 is always the smallest)
Hand cut another panel in lilac that will sit on to the base card leaving a small border around the edge
Hand cut another piece of white that will sit on the lilac panel again leaving a small border around the edge. and into the centre of this add the Criss Cross Pattern
Cut and emboss this panel
Cut the butterfly out three times ... one in lilac card and the other two in parchment
Glue them together along the body line only and then cut them in half between the antenna and along the body line.
Arrange the flowers as you like them and add one half of the wings to each side of the display.
I added rose buds onto the antenna
Sparkle the flowers and the butterfly wings with fine glitter
Add the diamante at the bottom of the butterfly as its trail
Raise the sentiment up with foam pads and add to the bottom of the card

International Ambassadors Informal Blog Hop - Debi Adams

Hi Everybody,

Each month we like to get together and share with you the things that some of the Ambassadors have created.

We also try to have a theme and over the last few months we have featured our makes using dies from some of the Designers for Spellbinders.

We have featured Stacy Caron and Seth Apter dies and stamps and this month we have decided to go with Debi Adams.
I have chosen to use her stamps and matching dies named  Floral Devine

I have teamed them with some other dies and embossing folders to get the look I wanted

The top card is a 5x7 and the bottom one is a 6" Square.

Both have added pearls to add that little bit more

I have water coloured both cards and then added the flowers and leaves with different thicknesses of foam pads underneath to give height

These hops are to show you what we create and to thank you for all your support during the year so please pop along and see what the others have to offer you this month  as there is sure to be something that catches your eye

More Shabby Chic Cards to Imspire

Hi Everybody,

Today I have added yet another video to YouTube with more of the Shabby Chic cards that I really enjoy making

Cards to Inspire You Pt 9 Shabby Chic  is the ninth one that I have added and the link is permanently in the top left hand corner

Hopefully it may give you some ideas when the MoJo has gone walkabouts and you are stuck for something to create

I hope you enjoy the cards and please leave me a comment if you have.

That lets YouTube know that you enjoy this type of video and enhances my standing with YT for the future

YT is one of the ways that I earn an income and advertisers pay for the space and air time on the bottom of the videos.

So if you would allow the video to run and not click the advert off then advertisers are happy ... and so am I.
It is only a few minutes ... just time enough to make a brew ... if you know what I mean !!

Thanks for all your support
