6x6 Collection - Blue & White Corner Card, Stand & Box

Hi Everybody,

This lovely blue and white creation is made using the 6x6 Collection

In this video I have tried to show you how you can make the little corner die work for you.

I am really pleased with the way this one turned out and I hope you will like it too.

The blue card is from Papermill Direct and is my favourite shade called Marine Blue, and it teams really well with bright white.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and are a mix of two shades of blue Roses, Carnations, Chrysanthemums, Tulips and white Gypsophila. You don't need many flowers to make a really pretty display and I matched them on the box too.

Die Cutting Essentials 38 - Stained Glass Peacock

Hi Everybody,

Today I am sharing with you the free gift that is with Die Cutting Essentials 38 and this will be on sale on the 24th May.

It will make an impressive card for you by simply adding the die cut to glitter or designer card very easily.

You can snip away bits that you don't want to create another look for your designs

6x6 Collection Gold & White Card

Hi Everybody,

For today's video I have used some lovely gold card that I bought at a craft show some time ago.

I teamed it with white to make this really pretty card, stand and box.

I used the Nesting Hexagons which are part of the new 6x6 Collection and I have shown two ways in which I have used them,

The flowers, lace and the dazzler are all from Wild Orchid Crafts and I have tried to show you in detail how I would add the flowers to the card. 

But there is an older video to show you also how to get the look that you want ... Adding Flowers to your Cards

5x7 Card and Box - Turquoise Floral Card

Hi Everybody,

Today's cards is created with the 5x7 original "Christina Collection" and the card stand from the new 6x6 sets.

But for this card I have used the card stand in a totally different way and the result is lovely.

The video will show you how I used it and if you bought the die set then this is another way to get more use from it.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and are a mixture of Gypsophillia, Roses, Tulips, Cherry Blossom and Asters

So I hope you enjoy the video and there is another tomorrow with the 6x6 collection.

And if you have that set then you could always add the stand as frame to that size also.

Tonic Craft Kit 10 - Alphabet frame

Hi Everybody,

This post is a little late with this new kit as the video has been on YouTube since Monday ... but better late than never.

So this is the Alphabet Frame Kit and I have used Craft Kit 05 to make the flowers.

I did the card in two different colours and I think my favourite has to be the blue one shown here.

The kits sell out very quickly and often before the video is shown. 

So the safest way to make sure you get it is to join the subscription and have it delivered top your door each month. 

There are always beautiful dies and often stamps to match them  and always some lovely papers for you to work with ... or simply drool over !!

Sunny Yellow 6x6 Card, Stand & Box

Hi Everybody,

Here is another card to inspire you with the new 6x6 Collection and this one is in a beautiful pale yellow

The video will show you how I created this set and I am really pleased with the result

There are other sentiments to choose from in the collection but the With Love is the one that comes with the card and box set.  

Alter the colours also for another look to your cards.

This one is done in grey and white and if you leave off the bow it could have a more masculine feel to it.

But I love the flowers, ribbons and pearls on the yellow one for a true feminine look

Papercraft Essentials 160 - Whale of a Time

Hi Everybody,

This months copy of Papercraft Essentials will be in the shops on the 17th May

There is a really good die and stamp set for you to play with.

I had many ideas for this gift and some of them are in the video.

I stayed with a cool blue scheme for all the cards to enhance the sea theme

I created the backgrounds with stencils and one was done with copy paper from one of my dies.

This is a good way to extend the use of your own dies and the copy paper will serve you a few times before it needs to be replaced.

Keep a look out for the magazine if it is one that you would like

6x6 Collection - Green & White Card

Hi Everybody,

Today I am using my new 6x6 Collection to create this pretty card with it's own stand and matching box

Green is not a colour I use much but I am really pleased with the way this one turned out.

For the stand I decided to add the patterned piece to the back and the front so that it would look good from any angle as the card was displayed ... and it gives more strength as well.

And both card and stand fit comfortably inside the box and make such a lovely addition as a gift.

6x6 Collection - Rainbow Card

Hi Everybody,

I have been busy making cards using my new 6x6 Collection and Thank You to all of you who have bought it so far

I hope you have lots of fun making beautiful cards and I have a lot more vidoes on the way to share my ideas.

So this card is really easy to make using the Nesting Squares and Rainbow colours with Distress Oxide Inks. 

This fun effect would be a hit with children or maybe those who simply love magical rainbows

When you are adding the inks make sure that you have loads of ink on your brush/sponge or whatever you use to add it.  And add lots to your panel. The more you add the better the blend you will get. And it will look smoother as it dries.

Today the sun is shining and I have lots to do over the weekend creating videos with my new collection.  Ruby will of course get her long Sunday morning walk with my daughter Vickie and Ruby's best friend Dougal and then she will sleep away the afternoon.
